  1. Looking for a set of long travel A arms LMK what ya have can either pm me or txt 248-515-0511 with pics and info
  2. Says complete stock bottom end so you would think no but having stroker pistons doese make you kinda of wonder im also curious myself!
  3. You'll have to have it ported for a 4mill wich is basically raising the port timing for the increased stroke. There is a spacer plate that can be used but everything ive read says that it isnt optimal and creates more surfaces to seal making leaks more likely. Biggest benefit of a 4 mill seems to be more low end power and greater torque. I'm no expert and I'm sure some one more knowledgeable may chime in to better explain.
  4. to start i would switch plugs, if it switchs sides replace them. if this doesnt help. next step Compression check if compression is ok, clean carbs/ sync carbs visually inspect intake boots for cracks is where i would start. if that doesnt help. leakdown test. thats a good start anyways
  5. I believe you may be correct about green/yellow. I could swear it was green/white on my brothers 2002 banshee but as i said in my original post its been a while and i i wasn't completely positive. Here is another post detailing this below. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=146127&p=1262314
  6. make yourself a Photobucket acount and host them there and share the link on BHQ so you can retain original size and quality.
  7. Brothers bike had similar symptom and parking brake was removed. after banging our heads for a while trying about everything we were sure it was electrical and we ended up cutting the parking brake wire right by cdi and it cured it. apparently it was grounding some where on the chassis. if i recall it was a green/white stripe wire but i could be mistaken its been a while.
  8. "Never not gotten them". i had to reread it also the double negatives confused me!
  9. Most defintaely!! I scored some stingers/silencers from 7milsleeper today but these are for my 4mill trail bike wich currently has some FMF. Looking at some pics of some 10mm cub cylinders a member pm me about that i think i may buy also. then i need a crank and some trench work it appears. Ofcoarse and a set of pipes named above!
  10. i cant seem to edit topic title it just gives me the option to delete this topic not edit it? Is there a time limit as to editing a post topics or am i just not doing something correctly?
  11. BUMP! Still looking for a good ported top end or cub cylinder. 4mm or possibly 10mm been tossing up the idea of just doing a 10 mill for my "in the works" dragger LMK what ya got
  12. Sand in the carbs is deadly on an engine. whistle sound is most likely an air leak which causes a lean condition and also the high rev. Check the intakes for cracks/leaks especialy where the crossover tube goes in. Make sure there is no more sand anywhere it can travel into the engine. it will be on the side that heated the pipe up so hot obviously.
  13. Isn't it customary when posting multiple items at the same time to just put them in a single add? instead of several adds with one item for sale lol?
  14. Looking for some Extended J arms. prices and pics please.
  15. There is also a kit you can buy with fittings and clamps/gauge to pressurize the pipe while you heat it to remove the dent. Or you could fab one up yourself for a fraction of the cost. As said above there are several videos on youtube showing the process
  16. Just throwing this out there but REAR wheels and hubs in 89 they were the larger style bolt pattern wich only fit 89. I have one and a couple sets of wheels and they aren't interchangeable with my 2000 banshee
  17. Location? edit: nm hopped on computer and see its in utah Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
  18. read on some of the first year bikes they didnt have the ridge cut in the top case where the crank half moon clip goes so you cant even use the full clip. going to have to assume an 89 falls in this category? Any one familiar with that year engine and know if this is true for 89? i have an 89 and a 2000 im doing a 4 mill first on my 89 since its much more worn, not abused but just more used obviously. My 2000 is actually pretty mint i got it from an idiot who thought the trans was blown cause his nephew blew the clutch to hell. Reason being he had the clutch cable adjusted so tight it wasn't even fully disengaging. Had that thing fixed about an hour after i bought it lol and it looks to have barely even been road not a single tool mark and still has 120 compression. plan is to make the 89 my duner/dragger and the 2000 a sweet trail bike man is this adding up amazingly fast!
