  1. Yep 2007 is when the introduced the revised master cylinder which pumps more pressure. I did the same thing, ordered one then found this out moments later. Sent the seller a message to cancel the sale that I was looking for the 2007 higher pressure version. His reply was, this will still fit and he shipped the item. I will be sending mine back.
  2. We know. We were offering advice for "future" sales so you get email updates from the site.
  3. oh, just thought from join date and name and items for sale. just a weird coincidence i guess
  4. call them or contact them thru their website. they are fairly prompt on replies, with in 24hours each time i have contacted them
  5. 2.86 is stock, TDR advertisment says the 2.68 are for a 2-5 overide for 1/8 mile racing
  6. probably in your plug the wires have frayed and left blinker wire is touching the battery wire. or in the wire harness before it hits battery
  7. spark arrested FMF silencers are Turbinecore 2's
  8. kinda a moot point as Jessie already confirmed that oem hub and pressure plate work on this but I also got an email back from TDR that i sent before he chimed in saying the same. Surprised i got such a fast response, email was only sent a couple hours ago but after they closed im sure. they have a 2.81 as opposed to 2.86 ratio. wonder how different that will be?
  9. Cool thanks Jessep, i was searching around to find that answer on the interwebz and i couldn't find anything saying whether or not you could use oem with the spring loaded basket or not. Main reason im probably going to get it is that i would spend almost as much on a billet basket and straight cuts basically anyways. looks like Cascade also has them at the same price and they are a site sponsor so bonus.
  10. personally i would just buy the jets from a site sponsor. jets are usually around 3-4 bucks each. call jeff at Fast and he will hook you up and mail them the next day. http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/contactus.asp
  11. wondering if this is the cheapest seller of these @ $595.00 and if any one has had any issues with this product. http://sandtoyzunlimited.com/sandtoyz/newlook/store/store_view.cfm?store_area_id=35&STORE_DEPT_ID=460
  12. with your setup the FMF recommendations should work perfect. 30 pilot, 260 main 3rd clip position. airscrews 1.5 turns out. if you mod the air filter or run with out the airbox lid you'll need to increase the main jets edit: this is at 70 degrees 0-1500ft asl as per fmf site. may be a tad lean on main at higher temps by 1 jet size.
  13. You'll need to back them out more then 1/2 turn each to get a lower idle speed.
  14. assuming you mean air/fuel screws that you adjusted to 1/2 turns out. have you tried adjusting the idle lower? if you did mean the idle screws at 1/2 turn out then adjust them more out.
  15. ouch, that could make for difficult chain tension adjustment!
  16. whats the temp youll be riding this in? what type of airbox, lid on or off or any mods to it. FMF also has a recommending jetting page. http://www.fmfracing.com/RiderSupport/JettingCenter although their recommendations may not be accurate depending on airbox mods
  17. atleast you posted back with an outcome. Alot of people after going thru much trouble shooting realize its something stupid and they never post back cause they dont want to say what the real issue was. the slide issue may fix itself after the fuel mix lubricates that slide again. After cleaning my carbs well i had sticky slides also.
  18. you say at idle, does it warm up when held it a higher rpm? any exhaust when held higher then idle?
  19. Also in the future you can follow the thread and receive email notifications for replies to the topic!
  20. That isn't verifying u have spark. You need to pull the plug leave it on the wire and ground plug to the motor, kick it over and see if it had a bright blue spark. If its carburetion and it won't even fire at idle then you wouldn't have fuel on the plug. Hard to help when your answers are I think so and you don't actually verify for certain. Probably is carburetion but I doubt it has fuel on the plug if it is.
  21. If you verified its getting fuel to that plug. Next verify its sparking on that side. Engine needs compression fuel and spark to run so go down the list.
  22. Absolutely. Commonly the intake boots tear near where the cross over tube goes in, especially if a boost bottle was installed. might be a good time to pony up the cash and buy or build a leakdown tester and see if she has a good seal. The side that isnt firing right, is that plug have fuel on it when you check it after it has been started or is it dry.
  23. what condition are these in? any damaged paddles or marks in side wall etc, dents in rims or scratches? Looking at rockymountain atv at same ones with rims may just buy new. sucks buying tires/rims here cause with shipping it makes it almost not worth it when you get free shipping from alot of places when buying new putting you at a very similar price for used.
