  1. The A arms I just didn't know where to look, SKEETER recommended JD performance so that's where I'm looking now. I am listening to everyone's advice and I will be splitting the cases to look at the crank and probably send it to Jeff to have it trued and welded. The money situatution is hard to explain without telling everyone my life story. What do you recommend I do Windy? for both the suspension and motor? I can't do one or the other it has to be both. I know good quality and low cost don't go hand in hand so I'm trying to find a happy median.
  2. Thanks! I'll contact them. If anyone has any other suggestions let me know.
  3. I don't inist on buying from ebay, I just don't know where to look. If you can show me some links to some good stuff I'd appericate it. I'm not looking to drop more than $500. There is some moose racing +2 a arms with lines and tie rod and ends for $400 locally.
  4. Still pretty far from Albany, I was wondering if anyone was in the neighborhood of a 30-60 minutes away.
  5. Is that from personal experience? I don't understand because the Fullflights are made out of thicker steel. Full flight: 0 ASR: 1
  6. I'm going with +3 but it's between the American Star and the Fullflights. The fullflights seem like a better deal to me. I'm going to be running stock wheels for now.
  7. http://www.ebay.com/itm/360889011404 http://www.ebay.com/itm/BANSHEE-3-1-A-ARMS-11-CLRS-3-BRAKE-LINES-TIE-ROD-ENDS-/271435597059?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f32d28503&vxp=mtr So it's between these 2 now, Both offer lifetime warranty, only difference is brake lines and the American Star is $13 to get white (Which I want) It also seems that the American Star set does not come with the hardware to install and I need the hardware.
  8. I read that the fixed the crap heim problem
  9. The set I was looking at was $500 for +3 +1 A arms, braided brake lines +3, tie rods and new tie rod ends. And fullflights come with a lifetime warranty which I like. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BANSHEE-3-1-A-ARMS-11-CLRS-3-BRAKE-LINES-TIE-ROD-ENDS-/271435597059?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f32d28503&vxp=mtr
  10. I'm not doing any "hill climbs" but there is definitely some steep stuff I'm gonna be riding on. The price for the +2 and +3 set up are exactly the same, They're fullflights on ebay if anyone has any useful input on that.
  11. Okay. I'll figure it out tonight If I'm gonna split the cases or not.
  12. Is mine worth* sending out or should I just look into buying a new crank?
  13. Is mine sending out or should I just look into buying a new crank?
  14. Thanks. I know you just warned about ebay sellers but what do you guys think of this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-BANSHEE-WISECO-CRANKSHAFT-CRANK-KIT-1987-2006-BOTTOM-END-KIT-/310728970023?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4858e3cf27&vxp=mtr
  15. I should replace the main bearings anyway right? While I have it apart. This kit look good? http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Yamaha-Banshee-top-bottom-end-complete-gasket-kit-o-rings-1987-2006-/290836957897?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43b73bcac9&vxp=mtr
  16. I don't know what all of them means. You're talking to a moron here.
  17. I already admitted that Could someone tell what I should replace if I split the cases, what seals, bearings, gaskets, what you think should be replaced?
  18. I'm not too lazy to take it apart, I actually really enjoy working on these types of things, but the trees around my house just aren't producing the money like they use to. If I blow it up it's on no one but me and if it's last then I'll have a 27 year crank that has lasted 27 years with no inference. And Yeah I know it could be bearings. I'm trying to price things out as we speak to see what I can do. I'm not totally against splitting the cases but I need to see what money will allow.
  19. But if it was gonna fail shouldn't it have failed 20 years ago? this thing is 27 years old! I think it's safe to say that these cases have never been split before. If I can dig up the funds to have it done I will, I'll send it straight to Jeff at FAST, but if I can't I'm just gonna leave it alone until I can. Knowing my luck, splitting them will cause the crank to break in half just cause I split them.
  20. Oh, I should have put riding on mostly private property where trails can be as wide as I make them, and most of the state trails around here fit an outlander with 2 feet to spare so I'm not worried about width, just wondering which performs better.
  21. That's what I was thinking, I don't really ride like a dick and I weigh half of what the guy before me weighed so if it didn't die with him I can't foresee it dying with me on it. I might just save up and buy a whole new bottom end and just see how long this one stays together haha Thanks! I'm glad to be apart of it!
  22. Just wondering what everyone's opinion on which would be better for hilly woodland trail riding, +2 or +3 A arms? Also I need a new swingarm should I stick with stock or go with something different?
  23. He does, it comes standard when you have kids. I'll consider splitting the cases if I can find a set of unbroken ones that aren't too pricey.
  24. There was definitely a better way not to sugarcoat it though. I mean according to him I have a 4/5 change of him being of the said assholes. He might not be in general but that post definitely was coming off a bit asshole-ish. I do appreciate everyone's response though, sugarcoated or not.
  25. That's basically the entire season. I'd rather throw a rod after 3 rides than not ride it at all. I need new cases anyway...
