  1. There is a huge thread about electrical testing, have you checked the woodruff key? pickup gap? Coolant doesn't just disappear, check your oil for coolant.
  2. I painted mine with just a regular can of spray paint. Did 2 coats of primer and 4 coats of white and they came out okay. It's simple to take the paint off too.
  3. That's what I was thinking, one thing is I won't know what weight they're set up for or if they leak until I get them
  4. Will these shocks http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-works-triple-rate-LONG-TRAVEL-shocks-/291219000674?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43ce014d62 work with these a arms? http://teamalbaracing.com/i-13568041-yamaha-banshee-350-adjustable-long-travel-a-arms-21-1990-and-up.html
  5. That's what I thought, and I'm guessing it'd be the same for +2 or +3 arms
  6. What would happen if you used long travel shocks (16.5") with regular a arms? Yes it's a stupid question but please give a real answer before your wonderful sarcastic remarks.
  7. Bump still at $2200 just installed new throttle cable
  8. I can't imagine what it would be other than it being wet.
  9. I just left the cover off for a couple days, went down to see if anything changed before I ordered a stator and wala, kicked it over and had spark. If this happens to you just let it air dry for a while before calling it dead.
  10. I'm in the Albany, NY area. I'll keep an eye out for it on craigslist and let some of my riding buddies know.
  11. If the next build happens I plan on getting their DC stator kit
  12. The stator belongs to another engine. The bike in question is on it's way out.
  13. I have an oem stator just for the wrong year and I'm not gonna chip it up to change the plug
  14. No. I bought the quad and it already had a crappy aftermarket one, which I replaced with another crappy aftermarket one. I didn't except much out of it but I figured it last more than one ride.
  15. I'm 99% positive that it's the stator. I've personally gone through the wire harness twice, swapped cdi, coil and all the other goodies just to have it be the brand new stator I bought. My question is if the stator gets wet is it done for or can you dry it out?
  16. After, but I think it has died on me once while riding it and it was the stator that caused it. The flywheel cover seal was on and the cover was tight so I'm not sure how water got in there; I do have the little rubber seal next to the sprocket, not sure exactly what it's called but it's there.
  17. Getting old but only because I need an actual answer
  18. Still don't have an answer though
  19. He was trolling on another thread also
  20. I checked them, all except one were dry. The one had a bit of moisture in it which I dried out.
  21. Check your clutch adjustment first, could just be the pressure plate is too lose and isn't pressing down hard enough on the plates
  22. Ever since I've owned this quad I've had nothing but problems with the electrical system, and ever time it comes down to the stator. I went out riding yesterday, came back and washed the quad. It started no problem after washing it, but when I parked it in the garage and tried to start it again, nothing. No spark. Pulled the flywheel cover and there is moisture and water droplets inside. Is a wet stator a dead stator?
  23. I couldn't be on this site if I wasn't haha. It's running great now, but I'm looking to get out of the banshee world for a little while
