STD is Another power correction standard determined by the SAE. Power is corrected to reference conditions of 29.92 InHg (103.3 kPa) of dry air and 60 F (15.5°C). Because the reference conditions include higher pressure and cooler air than the SAE standard, these corrected power numbers will always be about 4 % higher than the SAE power numbers. Friction torque is handled in the same way as in the SAE standard.

Thanks for the reassurance guys. lol In the car world OEM rods are NOT strong so i thought it was similar for our bikes.

I run pods through mud with no outwears no issues at all just have to clean them before the next time you ride. Pods make the bike ALOT easier to work on.

Bought my 06 with one previous owner for 3500 with it all stock with just T6's and a k&n. Bike was really rough when i bought it though he took the plastics off so they wouldn't get screwed up or something, took the grab bar off to rig the t6s on cracked the tail light, lost a bunch of the bolts and brackets for the plastics, fucked up the stock key cause he lost the key then refound it, clutch slipped, it had the original tires on it which were shot and bald, i literally saved my bike but IMO i over paid for the condition. Anyways i don't see why you cant get 4k for it. Know some guy who sold his 05 nothing special in blue with CPI's and pods for 4200 with title. Your bike is mint, and i LOVE the black and yellow edition.

Since this is my first bike im getting a new setup and i will be using the stock crank and rods i will be getting it welded and trued locally by someone well known. But i was wondering do i have anything to worry about with the OEM rods?

Apparently from what my buddy told me those are the most reliable overrides. Since (IIRC from what he said) the drum has to be modified for N down.

Just looking for a dunable override, thanks for the suggestion. Mostly ride trails and asphault race. All my buddies ride non dunable overrides through trails no problem at all.

Was looking into getting a dunable override, wanted to know whos the best at making them? looking for 1-4 M5M6. Thanks.

Its a deal. Around me you could sell that rolling frame for 1k ALL DAY if it has a title. Parting out the pipes carbs etc and misc things youd easily get your money back. Id just throw a set of OEM ported cyl and a 4 mil hot rod in there. My friend just bought some locally with pistons for $800 thing runs like a raped ape. Interested in selling anything off it?
