  1. air screws turned out 2 1/4 turns but if it were a jetting issue wouldn't it do it on both sides not just the right?
  2. 1200 elevation im mixing fuel 50/50 92 octane pump gas and vp c12 and I mix my oil 40:1
  3. reed petals look good they are v force 3s I have a cool head 19cc domes Toomey t6 exhaust k&n pods no air box timing plus 5 and plugs are dark brown and dry

I pumped air into my exhaust ports with the intakes plugged with my spark plugs in I put 7 psi into it and it dropped 1 psi in 20 mins and im running a 30 pilot and a 340 main I cleaned out the jets last night and put them back in and im running stock carbs with tors im going to eventually get new carbs so I wasn't that worried about getting rid of them
  5. ok so I have done a few searches on here cant find anything real conclusive but I am getting almost like a backfire out of my right pipe and its smoking a little more as well its not too noticeable but the noise its making is and it idles fine and it also runs fineI have done a leak down test its all good and I just replaced the plugs and got the same thing any ideas on what it could be? I am ordering my carb sync tool to check that btw thanks for the help in advance
  6. I went from 5 inch uni foam filters to 6 inch ones and I did not have to change my jetting they are all different tho
  7. ok so somehow I ended up with a bunch of jets for banshee carbs small ones that I will never use...I was contemplating just bringing them to work and drilling them out (im a machinist) so I don't have to buy new ones. the only thing im unsure of is say I go from a 270 main to a 280 how many thousandths bigger does the hole get? just wondering so I can drill them to the size I need I have like 3 pairs of 270s lol

  9. well just got it all together ended up with 340 mains and 30 pilots and it runs good checked the plugs they look coffee stained ill keep a close eye on her thanks for all of the help guys
  10. yes im for sure going to keep an eye on my plugs 4.50 a pair is a cheap price to pay compared to a new top end lol anyways thanks for all the input I really do appreciate all the input
  11. what psi should I be under? I was hoping for 140 or so but no more than 150

I could use a little help I had a stock banshee with Toomey t6 pipes was jetted correctly but I just received all of my upgrades in the mail and have no idea where to start with jetting heres what ill be putting on this thing... I got k&n pods on stock carbs (will be running no box) cool head and 20cc domes +4 timing and v force 3 reeds and im 1200 ft above sea level any idea where to start? thanks in advance
  14. im not broke lol I was just focusing my money on other upgrades until I need to get rid of my t6 pipes and no not from anyone on here I mean he could be but that's not how I came across them
  15. ok so some guy thinks he has a set of CPI head pipes there are no markings on them and they look like that's what they are to me too and they look almost new are they worth buying for 180 bucks shipped im just not sure if I can just buy the silencers where I could find them and for how much? get them or pass?

  20. I was wanting to try the paul turner high revs my buddy has a set of the head pipes but not the silencers I was wondering if I could use my t6 silencers with those head pipes for the time being until I got the fat boys any help is appreciated thanks

I have recently purchased a bunch of parts for my banshee im going to put them all on this winter have all bolt on mods and am going to be putting in new pistons and will most likely have it ported that being said some kid wants to sell me his 34mm flat side carbs off of his 250r will they work out for me? and roughly what should I pay for them? thanks for any help
  22. i have that set up it seems to work fine may not work as well as some others but its cheaper and way better than stock
