Ive been talking to bill through the build process yes, just pulled the cylinders back off since the dyno run welded the ball and push rod but found these cylinders to be drag ported either by cam at redline or shane at dm the previous owner said he couldn't remember, I've owned them now for a few months and just got back in contact with the previous owner of them so id say his memory is blurry. Seeing as these cylinders are drag ported and wanting more top end maybe i should focus more on making this engine a weekend drag bike and build my other for a trail bike.

Have a driveline 421 hp, 36mm pwk's with pods, sip exhaust, tops out at 74 horse power on the dyne with 45 torque. Pipes are allowing max power at 7400 rpm and these cylinders need to pull further into the rpm. Ive looked at sniper, shearer and cpi as my top 3. Everything that i have read has put shearer pulling further than cpi and sniper being better all around but can't find any results showing snipers on a set up similar to mine. Im not worried about waiting 12 weeks for the snipers but really would like input on them first. Cpi shows to have a smoother pull but fall short with shearer pulling harder up top with the longer pull. Im building this motor for fast, open trails and drag play. This isn't going to be a full drag bike and don't want something thats just all balls to the wall or nothing.

ill get one tomorrow after work when i get it out of the case and in better view

Bought a set of cases and they had a 4mil crank already in them. They’re in perfect shape except on the flywheel bolt someone’s must’ve broke it off and they welded a new bolt on. Hard to say if they’re true to a balance but it looks like it from the naked eye. More than likely I’m screwed on ever using it right?

I just installed Alba Lt on mine last week, just have the old full flights which are bent that need their lifetime warranty used
-
I seen those sandslingeror, I’d say they bought out their patton but won’t go back in the customer history on warranty
-
Only reason for asking is their lifetime warranty. I need some arms returned
-
Any idea where they disappeared to. I tried emailing them and calling them at their Hickman, Ky location with no success.
-
Good news, after tech stepped in from the warehouse and went through 4-5 more banshee boxes they discovered that they were actually raptor arms instead and they was boxed wrong. So by next week I should be getting the right arms
-
I read that, I'm pretty sure you commented on it saying their jig must be messed up and i agree if they're sending these arms out with wrong measurements all the way around then something is wrong. I don't want to have to pay shipping back to them for a return but i may have to cut my loses and choose a different company if something isn't resolved. Thanks i sent them your photos along with mine with details about each one comparing them alongside the ones they sent showing them all the measurements again with my same pictures again. After 5 hours on the phone and email you'd figure somebody would come up with something
-
You're right hoppedupandcutdown, i double checked my vin just to make sure i wasn't insane and the 10th digit is a 4 which indicated a 2004 model. From 1991-till the end of time everything stayed the same except cdi plugs and tail lights
-
Exactly, you seen in my pictures they're definitely wrong and you have the exact measurements i have on my old ones but i spent 5 hours talking to Alba today over phone and email. When i first contacted them this morning they wouldn't have it any other way than to have pictures instead of measurements so i left work to do so. Waited another 2 hours for them to get back in touch with me after i sent them an email with a description and all the pictures and measurements again. After calling back a third time i finally got in touch with someone about the email and he assured me that he had sent the right arms for the banshee that his in the warehouse also measured 10 upper and 10.5 lower that clearly it was my frame and that it had been modified for the full flight arms. If you don't care id like to show them your pictures too of your frame and try to get something worked out with them
-
If it allows you to look at the photobucket album you will see what I’m talking about. My original arms that were full flight mounted right up but the difference is definitely noticeable between the 2 brands and when I talked to Alba today they said the same thing that I had the banshee arms that they all measured bigger

I talked to Jorge Amaya from Alba today and he measured them again from his warehouse and they’re 10 and 10.5. Somehow we’ve come with a conclusion that mine has been fabbed for different arms because you can tell someone has welded in on the frame like from a j arm to a arm conversion it looks like it anyways but really not for sure because why would they take the time to add in the vin from a 2004. Also how could the previous owner find full flight arms to fit but the Alba’s are an inch to inch and a half off. Do you have any pictures dano3
-
i sent them an email about a month ago with no reply and tried calling them about 3 times, i thought that maybe they was closed when i tried calling but their phone gives a disconnect notice now. Even tried to google their number to see if it has changed and its the same
-
Im sure its nothing to resolve with alba they seem like theyre a very professional company to work with just sucks having to wait another week or longer to get the ball rolling again
-
not with the albas held up to the bike just the full flights that came on it when i bought it, I've tried reaching out to full flight but they must be out of business now, lifetime warranty on them is out the door now. Think they could be yfz arms since they're wider or just a totally different arm for a different manufacturer
-
yea ordered over the phone from alba actually ordered a lot at the same time, must have pulled the wrong part number and billed me for the right number
-
Bought these arms a week or so ago went to install them today after a front end tear down and they're too wide did i get the wrong set or am i missing something that i have to relocate mounts. the old arms measure 8 5/8 on upper and 9 1/2 on lower, the new measure 10 upper and 10 1/2 lower. these measurements are from outside to outside on the arms
-
Yea I should go with Milwaukees beast
-
Is there anyone that makes a pabst blue ribbon graphics kit or anyone with a custom machine to make a kit I'd like to design some for another build
-
ill check as soon as i get home for an air leak
-
Ive always set the fuel screw 2.5 turns out on both works well for the other one with the same parts
-
Theyre set with the same jets, fuel screws are out equally and the slides have been adjusted to where they lift and fall at the same time no slack between the carbs
