You just like how mine looks, don't ya..lol -
No dunes around here. Have to go to oklahoma for that. Genoa is basically a sand pit next to a dry'er river with trails in between them. People drag down the dry part of the river. Probably worth a stop if you go to the sand slingers race. Not too far away from Norfolk I don't think. They do close it down twice a year for a couple months though. Can't remember why. I avoid the jamborees these days. Gets alittle crowded there. Had a head on collision on a 400ex an hit so hard it broke the top mount off the motor.

Naahhh... i have a pretty cool farm house to play on now, not to mention Nebraska is pretty cheap as far as living expenses are. Guess I'll hang out here for a few more years,,,lol,,,,,, fuck,,,, somebody's gota be around here..lol

I know there's alot goin on in the for sale section about his ct motor and all,, but about a week ago I bought off a Duncan bumper he had. Went ahead and text'd him bout it,, his first price was pretty reasonable. Seemed like a pretty cool dude. he didn't have a Paypal,, and that's my main paying source,, so he had a buddy take the money for him.. He didn't have too but he did,, and it made everything convenient and it was a good and smooth transaction,, hell,, I even got a tracking number, within a day(wasn't expecting that,, thanks), Took a week to recieve it from Cali to Nebraska,, The part was in great used shape,, not bent or anything like that., I really like how the bumper looks with the rest of my bike, Would do business again without worry of a pos part or even nothing coming at all.. Thanks again bansheebee,,

Ook,, try this again.,,,,,,, Never tried g force axles, but we have had plenty durablues on our 400's,, the wheel hubs would always come loose and the splines would start to wear away if you don't catch it soon. Also had a buddy who had one on his yfz. And he snapped it on a pretty small jump at an mx race. I won't buy a durablue again. We run all lonestar now and haven't had any bit of trouble since. Lonestar FTW

You lucky bastard... Lol.. What kind of job u get down there?
-
Yea, drag racing is not really my thing. I like to get out and ride for longer periods of time, than just a few passes down a strip. I wouldn't mind goin up an watching, but its just not my kind of thing.. I'm straight south of Norfolk , around York. It would be about a 2 hour drive for me. You in Nebraska crazykane?

Just curious to see if anyone on here is fukin around in my area. Used to go to halsy years ago, but since they shut alot of it down. It hasn't been worth the trip for me. I'm about a good hour , Mabey an hour an half from genoa. Haven't been able to get the banshee there yet. but the time is coming soon.(fingers crossed). Other than that all I've ever been too here was all the tracks in the heartland mx series a few years back. Fox run in milford, off road ranch(i think) in deweese, and soaring edge in Ashland. Try an make it to Oklahoma when I can. Usually once a year. This year we're goin down in August, was hoping for the hq ride in September, but the woman's work schedule won't let it happen. It'll still be fun though,. First trip to the dunes with my banshee! But anyway,. Anybody know of any other good/decent places to go? Mabey a newer mx track? Would like to try out the new big one in Lincoln, but don't know when I'd ever be able too with the scheduled practices and all.

Ohh, sure Dave, nooww they go on sale.. Lol.. just kidding, even with them on sale, there's no way I'd be able to afford them after buying them shocks. But I am alittle curious on what they are goin for. -
Went ahead and bought my first part from jd. Bought the angled louvered grill. Took a little while to get her done, but this is the busy part of the year so I didn't mind. When he did get it done, he sent it out on a Saturday and it arrived Monday. I couldn't be happier. I really like how it looks on my bike. Defiantly going to do more business with him in the future. Probably a rotor and guard, and sprocket guard to match... When money allows,, hahahaa Thanks again jd

Yea, but couldn't it short out the stator or something along those lines. Idk , just shooting in the dark.

Pulled this off of thumpertalk Here's the latest... To Our Pre-Order Customers, This is a report of the Revision A cast 38mm SmartCarb analysis as well as an update on Revision B production castings. 1st SLA process prototypes 38mm SmartCarb cast prototypes were experiencing signal loss because air was leaking past the slide, bypassing the metering rod. This was due to body/fork/slide misalignment and fitment issues. These issues lead to a loss of idle control. However high speed settings and top end power met and in some cases exceeded our expectations. Revision A Tooling Prototype cast carburetors provided sufficient data to proceed with creating a permanent mold tool for investment casting and hopes of meeting pre purchase production timelines. The carburetors produced from hard tooling were expected to exceed the quality of SLA prototypes. Revision A Analysis This week the Revision A carburetor samples were again deemed unacceptable due to distortions in the castings and misalignment issues in the slide cavity area that cause improper sealing. Assembly of the carburetor castings required excessive custom fitting, also considered unacceptable for mass production. Revision B Tooling Rev A analysis requires changes to be made for a Revision B tool. Every effort is being made to improve idle control and accurate air/fuel metering in the cast carburetors. The fork will now be pinned into the body and a “chilling block” will be used to reduce body distortion. Check valves have become a mandatory addition to the Rev B tool as well. Current Actions We will follow through with Revision B tooling and produce pre production castings to test. We are currently working with our casting supplier to make changes to the tooling. If Revision B cast SmartCarbs meet our quality standards, production 38mm cast carbs can now only be released as early as August 12, 2013. The following options for pre purchasers include: 1. Full refund, no questions asked 2. Upgrade your purchase to a billet carburetor with a $50 manufacturer rebate 3. Wait patiently for the best fuel system ever developed

No, not exactly. More like 380 sumthing for cast. The billit ones are 800. Plus, they'll have the 38mm done and workin good before they do the 36.. There are quite a bunch of guys with the billit ones on the net already. A guy on 250r.net has a billit 40mm or sumthing. And he's had nothing but good things to say. Same with other dirtbike forums. So I'm not really a guinea pig, Mabey for a single carbed banshee I guess.lol

Hope so,, would make for a good Xmas present to myself.lol What does pikes peak have to do with anything,,? They just tested it there. And no, I won't post how to tune it.. I'm not stupid, unlike the dude who keeps askin if his frame's bent., I know how to tune most shit myself,,
-
This was put out on may 16th, I don't think they flopped .. They're already selling the billit ones with success..
-
Well, they emailed me today, "The cast 36mm release date has not yet been released. We are still waiting to see where the 38mm cast is first" So I guess the wait continues,, messed around withe my pwk today, and I think it'll be fine till the 36 cast is complete. Was hopin to have it for my trip to little Sahara , but ohh well.I can manage.
-
That's the idea, with the pre-order program.. Pay yourself into the line basically...lol,, hopefully here something about it this week, otherwise I think I'll just try and pay the extra for the billit one, they're already sending them out...
-
They announced that they have the 38mm in and are going to assemble them, test them, and if all is good, ship them, but they have not said anything about the 36mm yet. And that kind of pissis me off,, 380 some odd dollars ,, I'd expect a little better response from them,, tried emailing them, nothing back yet, so i just emailed them again,,, Mabey I should of just bit the bullet and got the billit one,, Damn..
