  1. The only thing I would like to trade them for would be 916's with cash on my end. Pm me if anybody is interested. Thanks
  2. I added up eBay purchases and CL buys and I'm at about 5,200. Stock stroke, ported cylinders, 4f4's stock carbs, pro design cool head, cfm oversized radiator, temp guage, boss intake, t5's full flights +2 +1, works dual rate fronts, stock rear shock, and polished rims with irazors. It was a complete pos when I got it. Oddly enough it was all the small shit that added up.
  3. 320 mains, 27.5 pilots, stock needles in 4th slot from the top.
  4. I always square up the rear axle first while adjusting the chain. Take a measurement from the axle to a arm and make sure they are the same on both sides. Then you can straighten the handlebars and adjust your tie rods. I use 2x4 as a straight edge. Hold the 2x4 against the outside of the rear tire. You need to adjust the tie rod until the 2x4 hits flat n both tires. If you front is wider then the rear just use a tape measure.
  5. Check out the internals of this motor. http://harrisburg.craigslist.org/mcy/3971286795.html
  6. I am starting a new thread because the other thread had a lot of useless information. I have gotten a few PM's since I posted a pic of these. I decided I mind as well start selling them and put some extra cash into the Shee. Send me your clutch cover and and I will cut the polycarbonate, make the gasket, cut the cover, and seal it all together. This does not include polishing the cover or pressure plate. All prep work on the cover (Paint, polish, powder coat) should be done before sending. I can have it back in the mail within a week of receiving it. Price is $100 (includes return shipping) I will include extra replacement lenses for $10 each. Please PM if interested. This is for a stock style non lockup clutch cover. Thanks Here is a pic of it on my bike This is the first one I am doing for a member. He has agreed to write an honest review when he receives it.
  7. Need a good flywheel. Please pm or text pics and price. Thanks.
  8. As the title says, I'm looking for a good flywheel. Please PM or text with pics. 443-871-8291. Thanks
  9. Needless to say, I will be putting blue loctite on the bolts.
  10. Well I bought the stator and adjustable timing plate first when I had no spark. Put it on and still no spark. Decided to order the dynatek Cdi and coil. Ended up being a bad cdi. When I installed the dynatek I put the stator plate back to zero.
  11. UPDATE (like everybody should do) So I popped the stator cover off and immediately noticed the 3 stator plate bolts had backed themselves out. I have an adjustable timing plate and a dynatek ignition. It was sitting at +6. Also noticed my flywheel rattles when I shook it. So I will be buying a race tech stator and a used flywheel. I'm sure this was my problem, I'm just hoping that the pre ignition didn't damage the motor.
  12. Getting ready to go out in the garage and mees with it. I will post results.
  13. I hope I can get this thing straightened out. I just dont understand why it runs smooth on bottom and mid then pops on the top.
  14. Thanks Tricked. I will check into those things. I believe its the stator or pickup. Everything has less than 4 hours run time. The dynatek coil wires are brand new. I plan getting an OEM stator anyway. I don't want to be stranded with the shitty RM stator. I will check the flywheel for rattling, check pickup gap, and ensure plug ends are screwed on tight. I know the ground is good because I chased my tail trying to get spark, CDI was bad. This thing has given me a lot of ignition problems so far, hopefully this will take care of it.
  15. So I think my piece of shit RM stator is the culprit. Let me start by saying I am familiar with 2 strokes and jetting. I have about 2 hours on fresh top end. It passed the leaktest. The bike started to backfire in the powerband. I took it riding today and it got worse. I tried to bump the mains up 1 but made no change. It didn't really change. I tried a bunch of different mains and nothing helped. The low/mid has always been fine. Now it is starting to backfire all throughout the powerband. I pulled the plugs and they are wet which tells me it's not firing. My mods are.... T5 pipes Stock carbs Cfm airbox w/ k&n and outerwears Boss intake Vf4's Trail ported cylinders Dynatek full ignition Cool head with 22cc domes Jetting.... (at sea level) 320 mains 30 pilots Stock needles 4th clip Air screws are 1.75 turns out (choke tube is in) Can you guys give me some suggestions. I think it's the stator. I bought it before I was a member and didn't do any research. I plan on buying an oem. Do you guys think this is my problem? Where can I get a decent deal on a stator? Thanks.
