  1. Hot rods +4 crank with a la 240 sleeve pressed in stock cylinder. Makes it 248 cc's. Cylinder is ported. V force 4 reeds, 38mm pwk, trinity pipe, and cfm airbox. I had it on a stock frame with a +4 swinger and stud spacers. It was an absolute AWESOME bike for tight trails. I have never ridden a leager frame and don't know what to expect. Should handle really well, it has 21" shocks in the front and a 17" rear.
  2. I am in the middle of doing a rebuild on a blaster and will be running a leager frame with the pro-trax system on it. How does it handle? It had it on there when I bought the frame.
  3. I run vf4's with t5's and I had to put 30 pilots in.
  4. I posted the link on BLASTERforum right when I found out. Wish it had been a little sooner. At least nobody got fucked on some big ticket items!
  5. I agree. I will just get a stock stroke crank and try to get some 916 pipes.
  6. Some reading for you guys. Dude sells Chinese junk! http://www.blasterforum.com/sale-18/new-complete-billit-kick-starters-56820/ http://www.blasterforum.com/sale-18/new-keihin-pwk-28-30mm-carbs-57055/
  7. Will their be any gains on that setup? I am using Pro X pistons now. I am currently running ported stock cylinders, V force 4 reeds, boss intake, stock carbs, cfm box, k&N filters, cool head w/ 22cc domes, T5 pipes, Dynatek ignition set at curve 2 (Or the one that is supposed to be equivalent to +4).
  8. Nice. Well I'll check it out. I have to build my other bike before I break this on down.
  9. Well I have t5 pipes. I am trying to trade them for 916's now. Not sure how much it would be to change the ports to match the 4mil crank. Basically I want a fresh welded crank so I can up the compression. I will look into changing the ports. Thanks for all your help.
  10. So it looks like I will stay with stock stroke and up the compression some. Thanks guys.
  11. ^^^ exactly. Well looks like I will be putting a stock stroke crank in then. I just hate replacing without upgrading.
  12. To sum it up, would it be better to put a stock stroke crank in or run the spacer plate on the +4? Which will perform better?
  13. My main question is what will happen if I run the spacer plate? What effect will it have on the port timing? I understand that it will perform better if I get the cylinders ported again and get custom domes cut. If I run the spacer plate will it perform better than stock stroke? Would I see any increase in bottom end with the spacer plate?
  14. I have a stock stroke crank with ported cylinders. I am also running a cool head with 22cc domes. I want to put some 21cc domes in. I don't think the crank is welded and I have no idea how many hours are on it. My question is if I put a +4 crank in (with spacer plate) will it throw my port timing off? I know everybody is going to say get the cylinders ported again and get some custom cut domes. I really would rather not go through all that. It's a trail bike and I'm just looking for a little more bottom end. Also I want the piece of mind that a fresh bottom end will give me. I'm at sea level and haven't checked compression yet. Any ideas on the crank?
