If I'm accelerating it seems OK. Once it reaches the point where it is no longer accelerating and the RPM matches the throttle position it starts to sound like it's missing or sputtering. If i increase throttle more and it starts accelerating again it goes away until RPM matches throttle position again, it once again acts up. Is this a Spark issue? Carb sync? Jetting? i have a sync tool in route, but if it something else, i want to start fixing the issue right away. 4 mil Long rod Serval 35 PWK 165Main/50Pilot

Okay thanks for that info. It is a CEL needle. I didn't mention that as I didn't know it was a big change. I'll get some new pilots from fast.

Okay, maybe it's just the pinging of the pipes. I know nothing of these carbs. I have the idle screw all the way in just to get em to idle. So maybe I'm Lean. It seems to come and go, not always the same. Could it be spark issue? Coil dying? I thank you for your help, but I'm lost. It was pretty straight forward to tune a stock carb bike.

put the stock PWK pilots back in and it seems worse. I'm not sure if the popping is in my head due to the pipes, as they just might give off that sound. ill post a couple videos, im not sure if they will help, with wind noise and such,

sorry, it did have the "clean-up" port. i tapped out my funds right now. i can always send em back in the winter. so fat pilot. will put the stock pilot back in. FAST sent me them, and i just automatically changed em. they must of been a "just in case" as they also sent me 3 pair of mains.

Finished the 421 serval build. Specs: Wiesco 4mil long rod Unported serval cylinders V force 3 reeds 26cc domes (145 psi compression.) Passed leak down. No loss in pressure after 15 min. Pwk 35mm carbs 165 main jet 55 pilot jet. Needle in middle Shearer inframes New plugs. 300feet above sea seems to have a "popping" exhaust sound mid RPM and kinda boggy. Once power band hits it pulls nice. F.A.S.T is a little backed up. I've tried calling them.

I bought these used, so I wanted to start fresh and just bought OEM o-rings. I'll try trimming down a bit. This will be my next step. What is NASA wrap? Serval

That's not the issue now. I put new o rings in and can't get the damn pipe on the head. So much lube on it you would of thought I was jerking it off.

Last two that replied with the no stock air box win. No one informed me. But my fault I should of done more research. I hope the extra power is worth the hassle. Fuck me I'm mad with fighting to get them on. Even on the head of motor. Once again probably my fault. But god damn.

I have the large part of the pipes on, no real problems but can't figure out the rear pieces. Why do the shearers look so different than my Toomey tails?

I read quite a few "how to's" and when I went to the store to buy the parts they didn't have the size I needed. So I bought these instead. 1 1/4 plug $2.00 Gauge $5.99 Rubber tire valve stem $0.50 Rubber ends from front bumper. $free It's a shit gauge so I will change it out with a lower PSI one. But new engine held 6psi for 15 min.

Okay. Good to know. I see what your saying. But then I'm still waiting 7-15 days. Dealer gets em in 2 days. No big deal. I will return em. I ordered 35 pwk from F.A.S.T. Problem solved.
