  2. Okay, ill focus more on jetting. i changed out the stator/pickup and flywheel only for it to do it more. so then i switched coils and boots. still did it. When i did some goggling i stumble across being to fat will cause it. so back to carbs. Thanks for your help!
  3. Is it possible that all of this is caused by to fat of a pilot jet? over the weekend i was doing plug chops up top, and long story short when my main was two fat it was missing on the top end. dropped a bunch of sizes on the jets and it went away up top. went down one size on the pilot and it got a bit better throughout the bottom and mid range. might drop the needle one notch and see if it gets better?
  4. both heads sold! crank and pistons left. make some reasonable offers.
  5. hope the solution comes tonight i got a new bike that i took the stator, pick-up and flywheel off of, ill install them tonight and see if it helps. if not ill pull the coil and wires and transfer them.
  6. When i seen how much they go for i was shocked. i was even more shocked at how much they are new. who ended up buying it? lol i understand all that, id just hate for that to happen to me. i guess I'm old school and my word is damn strong. but with the invention of the internet, some peoples word is not so much anymore. times will change.
  7. okay, i didn't want piss anyone off. i know some forums have un-spoken rules that they live buy. Thanks!
  8. whats everyone's educate here? i don't want to step on toes.

  12. Deposit received from 2sTrokeLove on the carbs.
  13. Like new. Not few hours on em. $315.00 shipped.
  14. Cleaned the flywheel up more AND THE PICKUP. (Had rust on it too). Seems to be 90% better. The stator had rust on the ends of the nubs too. So I used a scuffing pad and tried to clean them up as well.
  15. yeah, i thought you was going to give me a tip on how to ride.
  16. Okay, I got the 6.0 with out the caps. So that wild be a 7.0 total. Is that still with in spec? Or maybe coil dying? I sanded them down. It seemed to help, but still didn't go away completely. I'm still waiting on my sync tool to rule that out. I'll pull cover off again and clean it all real good. And check prongs in plug. Should be able to get at it tomorrow. Heat wave should break tomorrow, so won't sweat bag off working on it. Thanks again for all help guys.
  17. Yeah I don't know when I would of got water in it. The rubber gasket is still in place. I'll sand it down nicely and pull flywheel and have a look at the pickup as well.
  18. So pull the fly wheel off then probe all wires and should be in those specs? You say under 5. Other guy says under 7.5? Lol I'm tinkering away, but hot has hell out here in Ontario today.
  19. OkayPlugs re-gapped Cut wires back 1/4" just to make em nice. Coil checked out. Here is what I found on flywheel. Can I just sand it down clean and will it possibly be my issue?
