  1. put new brakes on this bike after picking it up few weeks ago. While I was at it, figured I'd do bearings too. After changing all part out, and snugging down caliper bolts, the outer pad is grabbing and binding on the rotor to the point you can't turn Hub. There is a washer that sits between the hub and spindle. If I remove that washer it just barley grabs it. Is that washer supposed to be there? If it is, what is my issue?

  5. Stand up guy. I'd would buy from again in a minute. Had some issues but he made them right. Could not ask for a better seller. Thanks again!
  6. I don't run antivirus. Waste of resources. Stay off porn sites and don't open emails from people you don't know. Problem solved.
  7. Well he is the guy that knows how to work the machine. Not me. I just watched. Seemed fine to me as the chuck grabs the axle where the bearing holds it then spins

  9. Why wait 2 months to ask for money back? I'm assuming your getting at something? Towards me or someone else?
  10. Try this video instead. Shows the sprocket and disc brake wobble as well. But yes I think lathe is best bet to figure it out. http://youtu.be/7kuWT3KyP54
  11. Let me start off this with telling back ground of this story. I was in a pretty bad accident on this machine last summer. Bent axles, rims, and few other parts. All replaceable items. So I replaced the stuff that I thought was hooped. Got used rims, axle. New bearing in carrier and new tires on the used rims. Started riding this summer after all repaired and I had a wobble in the tires/rims/axle. Well that's what I get for buying used (axle I assume). I bought a used durablue axle couple weeks ago, and just installed it. WOBLES STILL! It looks as if the whole axle is wobbling. Could anything in the carrier cause this, or did I get a bent axle? Video of it on stands. http://youtu.be/gDNLa45ElAk
  12. I had done a google search after I posted this and came across that thread. I don't want to go that extreme. Currently I have a billet round cover on it that has a gasket. I wondered why the stock and aftermarket ones has gasket or were even there to begin with seeing it is sealed behind it. I just want to drill a 5/8 hole or what ever size is needed to get a socket on that nut. So I guess if you can cut a big hole, a small one will be no big deal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. When you remove the little round yamaha cover there is nothing behind it, but yet there is a gasket on it. Why? Can you drill a the case cover to make quick access to adjust the clutch? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Clutch installed. Thanks for all the helps guys! Problem fixed after install! Time to buy an axle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks again for the help all. Live and learn. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Yeah. I put em in hand tight second time. On closer inspection the bolt broke. The part head fell into oil bucket so I assume it stripped after I backed it out. So i found bolt same length and put washer on it and it work. Thanks again. New territory to me. I have shop manual but sometime I miss steps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Shit as torque wrench! Stripped bolt. What do I do? Can I get away with 5/6 bolts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Perfect. I grabbed royal purple 10/30 from my supplier. Thanks again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Bingo bango bongo! Thanks! I had tried turning it a few and nothing happened. Read your post and turned it one more and seated. I was trying to figure out what the arrows lines up to that were on thee pressure plate but could not see any thing. Is there a break in procedure for clutches on banshees? Do I lock tight and of the spring bolts or nuts in clutch assembly? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I did a search on here and YouTube. Can't seem to get a good answer. I bought new clutch from redline and soaked the fiber plates for 1 hr+. Put them on fiber/steel/fiber etc. All in. Put the pressure plate on and I have a gap between last fiber plate and pressure plate after I put springs in. What am I missing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Parts ordered from driveline. Will try to report back.
  22. Okay, clutch is apart. I don't know how much meat should be on the friction discs, and not sure if the plates look good or not. Time for a new kit or put back in and adjust right? I had adjusted both lever and the adjustment in the case, but I don't think it moved much when I turned the adjusted screw in the case.
