  3. Im looking to get another shee. I got a 2005 yamaha blaster with mods and a 1985 suzuki rm125 in good shape both machines run good. Im not concerned with the year if the banshee as long as it is mechanicaly sound . In box me for pictures
  4. Its not a banshee but thought that add was pretty amusing http://nh.craigslist.org/bar/3706063448.html
  5. As far as I know and I could be wrong is it has to do with the piston rod length
  6. Alright so I put better clamp on that rubber piece and that side started smoking more . Pulled my plugs and the side that was smoking more had small amounts of coolant on that one plug so I re torqued all my head bolts some were looser then they were supposed to be . That seemed to take care of that problem I'm not seeing any coolant on that plug anymore. But I do have a good amount of oil coming out of my right exhaust pipe, enough to coat my finger if I stick it in the exhaust. The left side does it to but not nearly as bad. Any ideas? Am I running to much oil in my gas, I'm running it right now 40-1, I know every bike is different some run better with more oil to gas and vice versa. Would running a 50-1 get ride of the excessive oil in my exhaust?
  7. ready to blow my banshee up

  8. ready to blow my banshee up

  9. Not sure if this is the issue but the rubber boot that connect the expansion chamber to the exhaust pipe is rather lose definitely not air tight. Would that be the cause
  10. So my banshee just got a top end job did the heat cycles and it seems to smoke more out of the right pipe and once in a while the side that doesn't smoke as much makes a popping noise when you Rev it not every time but enough to where its worrisome, any idea what the issue is. I'm running a 2 into 1 intake keihin Carb , no airbox , no tors. Not sure if it plays a factor but its been about 40degress for the two days since the rebuilt was complete
  11. Well I'm finally done the rebuild and time to start breaking her in my question is its right around 35 degree out is it bad to do heat cycles in that cold of temperature.?
  12. Did a trade with him went very smooth would do business with h'm again. Thanks bro
  13. Doesn't have to be perfect but the 1 I have is completely butchered
  14. Anyone else have any possible leads?
  15. Does anyone have a uncut wire harness that will work on my 96 banshee just laying around. I have just about sunk every dollar I have into this banshee and my wife will have my head if I go out and buy a new one . If anyone could help out it would be awesome I can atleast pay for shipping
  16. Nothing of the tors remains on the bike , everything is clean in the stator compartment and gaped. Correctly. My key has been bypassed and the red and black wire to it is twisted together and grounded, kill switch is now grounded. And the black wire that goes into the coil is connectted but not sure if its grounded it goes back into the wire harness. What's left or am I missing something or did I do something wrong
  17. So I just put a wire to any bolt on the motor to the frame it doesn't matter where?
  18. So I bought my banshee without compression. And spark I fully rebuilt the top end and have great compression now I'm working on the spark issue. I bought a new stator the old one tested fine but got a new one anyway. My coil test fine, boots were bad replaced them. The only thing I can think of replacing now is the cdi but I'm completely broke right now so I have to wait to do that. I did notice though that the only thing that was ground on my bike was this little silver metal box next to my cdi. I have all my plastics off the bike and chasing wires hoping that maybe I have a broken wire or something isn't grounded. The Guy that owned it before me made a mess of the wire harness. So what's supposed to be grounded and where and if you have pictures of what to ground would be so helpfull
