  1. Forget about that leakdown test, just mix some gas and let it rip
  2. Well, you definitely dont want to run 87/89 octane like in a average 4 stroke. What octane you need depenps on compression. 32:1 is safe mix ratio for gas. A leakdown test is in order no matter where/who you got it from.
  3. Check ground connections. Make sure key/kill switch are working properly. New plugs. You can pull boot off of coil wire and cut off 1/4 inch of wire to expose some clean wire and re install boot. Set pick up gap.019 Clean stator poles and flywheel Ohm stator Swap cdi with a known good one
  4. banshee"s aren't for everyone. Just saying. sale might be a good plan
  5. And fukked up mama's meatloaf pan
  6. YNOTSMITH, I would listen to this guy. It is in your best interest in so many ways
  7. Like BHP said, need too check ring end gap on the athena cylinder. No way you should have to force piston/ring into cylinder
  8. You need to start over with 27.5 pilot,290 main. 340 main is too big. Set air screws at 1.5 turns out. Move needle to middle clip. Set floats. This is where you should be to start dialing bike in
  9. you want to see .040 to .050 .045 being ideal
  10. You would be lifting the slides with cable instead of screws holding slides up. Check carb sync
  11. How many times you kick to get 140? Did you have throttle wide open?
  12. Try some new plugs. 320 main seems large for a 350 motor with no porting. I would think around 290 at sea level, maybe less.
  13. Check your shift claw adjustment on star.
  14. We will be glad to tell you how to spend your money, but first thing first SERVICE MANUAL
  15. Prolly want to go ahead and put a 27.5 pilot in. better safe than sorry. Your main sounds close, you gonna have to read up on how to do plug chops to get it dialed in perfect. Nice banshee
  16. we all want to say we built that lil badass, but most successful banshee owners on here will tell you that their first build was a expensive learning curve. Its gets better with second rebuild and so on. haha
  17. His jetting could be off, but until he does a leakdown test you will never know. you will be chasing jetting till it blows if there is an airleak
  18. need to check wires coming from switch. making contact some where
  19. That idler gear looks pretty worn, but that's not where your chunks came from.
  20. has to be 520 for o ring chain
