  1. Pull the tether cord off, try it then.
  2. Memorial Day is in May, Labor Day is in September.
  3. The pieces of tubing that the pinch bolts go through are bottomed, but the actual carrier tube still has maybe a 1/32" gap. I plan to grind them tomorrow, but would like to now the best deal before my next trip. I thought maybe knurling the carrier?
  4. Just returned from the dunes, my Boss carrier would not stay tight in my JL swingarm. It seemed damn tight everytime I re-adjusted the chain. I have a little room to grind where the pinch bolts go, but just asking, do these wear out? What's the best fix?
  5. Check the seal on your radiator cap, and the fill neck, any small piece of debris will cause it not to seal. Or just a bad cap.
  6. It could still be internal, but best to check all this stuff first. drain your trans fluid into a CLEAN container, check it for metallic specs, or worse, chunks
  7. A -Shit wears out B -don't let friends ride your shit C -get a Clymers manual
  8. pawl pivot, should pivot with very little slop, common wear area
  9. The white bushing holds it from going in. the shaft just goes from the right side to the left side and touches nothing in between. pull the clutch basket and it will slide clear out. No case splitting. check the pawl for excessive slop.
  10. Run premium. take off your gas cap and blow in the vent hose to check it is free. pull your petcock check for crud in the bottom of tank
  11. What engine are you running? Shearer told me that's to small for my 421 serval, hold too much heat, has me concerned.
  12. Take a straight edge across the case and that spot surrounded by weld on the shaft and see if it pushes in from there, it should not. that will be where it operates.
  13. Do you have an overflow bottle? Do you ride steep down hill often? if so, common problem with the stock setup.
  14. It will pull out until the lever on the left side hits the stator cover. A white plastic bushing spaces it when pushed in. The clutch cover has a nud on it to hold it in. check to see if the pawl has slop on the pivot.
  15. Also, your TORS has been deleted, a good thing.
