    Just to be clear, different needle than your toomey, this one shuts off the fuel when the float rises, it has rubber tip that wears, dries out. Thanks for the complement - those are Original Rocket pipes.

    I'd put new needles and seats in the carbs. Like new or not, they have been sitting for 7 years.

    I just put PT mids on mine and left the Toomey T5 silencers. You just need a 2" peice of tubing that will slide in the pipe and stinger to connect the two. They are the same size.

    That's the one seal that you do not have to split the cases to change, that's why it pushes out with pressure build up. Again check the vent below the rear motor mount and hose coming from it.

    They will go in the opposite carbs backwards, so if the cut out is at the rear, they are in the correct carbs the correct way.

    I'd bet that the pilot jets are clogged from sitting. Also make sure the "BB" is in the left carb bowl.

    pics of mess, check the stinger and silencer too. Run a straightened metal clothes hanger in everywhere. Or put some misc. hardware in there and shake.
