  1. ^^^That was actually on the way back up on its tires... you know, like an Eskimo roll in a kayak. level- expert
  2. What? short, precise, accurate, no big words, no unneeded technical mumbo-jumbo, not a lengthy response yet totally accurate and informative, I'd say a perfect thread.
  3. card slides in backwards or parking brake malfunction if its new enough to have it.
  4. A: shocking that it came with a manual B: nobody mixes by the manual
  5. Yes, it should have a dipstick. If it doesn't look broken off, probably a Blaster cap. Did the previous owner give you the oil he was using? Both trans and premix? Did he tell you the ratio he was running?
  6. I was referring to Shayne, did he even burn a full gallon of fuel last year?
  7. I usually retire very early, as I am advanced in years, so I would appreciate it if you could keep it the fuck down after 8pm. And I will find that buried keg HAhaHA

  9. lap it good, clean it good, torque it properly...will be fine
  10. I'm surprised that your physician hasn't already prescribed one for you.
  11. Tri-coat candy paint doesn't like tight inside corners either. Especially like a dark candy over a light base. Goggle " Faraday cage effect" to explain the problem in powder. I'm also very picky, and paint for a living, but frames for anything are tough. Usually once it has all it's clothes on the defects are much more tolerable. Edit, I realize that I didn't finish my thoughts on the subject... If you paid a real shop, real money, and aren't happy, by all means take it back and let them know about it.
  12. I only use original Yamaha cables for that same reason.
  13. Looks right, does it slide easily in the flywheel off the bike? Maybe file those 4 burrs. Definitely lap in that raggedy shaft.
  14. Slot in crank straight up Key should parallel to the floor Make sure the key slides freely in the slot on the flywheel before install (slot free of crap) If the key is sloppy in the crank, get a new one Wouldn't think a drop of gasket sealer under it would hurt anything though Always lap in the tapered surfaces, too
  15. Good to hear you got it going. The cold/hot pipe thing was probably your carbs out of sync from the idle screw problem. You going to the dunes then? First time? or first time on a Banshee?
  16. How long did it run with those pipes and the small mains? It could be the cold side thats the problem, do a compression test.
  17. You will be fine with your 27.5 pilot and a 280 or 290 main. You NEED to check for an air leak. Turn your idle up. There is no way to measure 1 1/2 turns out on the IDLE screw.
  18. Those ain't stock pipes in the video... Are you calling the air screw the idle screw? <<<Anyway, I ride Waynoka with T5's, K&n, no lid, cool head, 25 pilots and 280 mains and it's a little rich, at these temps but that's OK with me. FYI
  19. I dig the safety green, high vis orange is for convicts.
