  1. If no one comes from the future to stop you from doing it, then how bad of a decision can it really be?

    1. GRAVEL

      GRAVEL

I like them chocolate covered pretzel thingys.

  2. Green, Wasn't that hand drawn schematic floating around here a couple years back, yours? I used that with great success, but alas, can no longer find it. That was pre-Kompulsive, of course.
  3. The key switch wires have to be connected to run The thumb switch wires have to NOT be connected to run (connected to kill) Hope this helps
  4. I can't decide whether to buy more guns or just carry more guns...

      Buy more holsters......

    2. ECshee

      ECshee

how about a new carry gun?

  5. Well then, SUPER simple to remove the outer clutch cover to look at a few things. Won't need either of those specialty tools for just that. If it's just the adjuster...easy fix If you welded the ball...more trouble, maybe not, gotta see.
  6. no matter what if your dipstick relieved pressure your vent hose isn't clear, if it has a low spot on a horizontal run, it could collect oil and not vent.
  7. I re-read your 1st post. It's probably welded. Your 2nd post didn't address my questions, so your mechanic should address the problem.
  8. I bet the nut fell off the adjuster. I also bet your "mechanic" don't know Banshees Do you have a Clymers Manual? Do you have some basic hand tools?
  9. You can ohm test the stator, but I'm a firm believer that anything with windings can test good and be bad. Just order you up a flywheel puller and switch them out since you have extras. Everybody needs to own a flywheel puller.
  10. Ignition coil should be 13.7-20.5 Ohms (red to green wire) Pickup coil should be 94-140 Ohms (white/red to white/green wire) Lighting coil should be 0.26-0.38 Ohms (black to yellow wire) http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=133650
  11. ^^ I do like that idea, so the stator can plug directly into the CDI, correct?
  12. The 11th is well into the second week of May. No need to hurry.
  13. Awesome! We was gonna go this weekend but I got another friend that HAS to be in a dang wedding!!! My gang should be their next weekend though.
  14. probably don't need the TORS brain box tab or the stock exhaust pipe bumpers tabs either
  15. HaHa, I guess..LOL If you have a flywheel puller with a big hex, it's that size, and that will work too in there.
  16. the electronics are safe anywhere, just dielectric grease in the connections. My homemade steering retainer tool... just a little OCD maybe
  17. bearing retainer inverted nut, use two big nuts locked together on a bolt to make a tool. That shop you got there has to have something laying about. I think a 3/4 bolt with a 1 1/4 head or 32mm is it.
  18. Several things I noticed, the swingarm bolt and axle weren't rusted in and must have came out nice, and the frame isn't bent upwards from wheelies. That means it was a really nice find. Good luck on the build! Check with JDS Customs for the electronics relocate bracket
