  1. What state are you in? We can recommend a BHQ sponsor that is close to you.
  2. I can't even count the number of places on this list http://www.bansheehq.com/bansheehq-sponsors/that can sell you the same things at the same prices and EVERYTHING else you will need in one order. AND be able to give you expert technical advise before, during and after your purchase on BANSHEE's. NEITHER of those two places (edit, 3) that you mentioned can do either of those things.
  3. http://www.ebay.com/itm/172113721304?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Saw these on BHQ Facebook and saved it... If all else fails
  4. MAN, You won't believe how often that happens...and nobody believes it!
  5. Seen and heard nothing but good things here https://www.facebook.com/DRW-Performace-356910540985808/?fref=ts
  6. Fuck that! Sleep with the bride to be, delay that marriage! Unless it's your sister.
  7. HaHa, Sorry, all I have are extra rear BRAKE parts! LOL
  8. Oooh, and I just remembered, I had a riding buddy who had a wrench from his tool kit bounce around and land on top of his battery and make his motor "skip", that would also lead to a battery melt down.
  9. What year is your YFZ450? Did you test the voltage output on your buddies quad first? Those numbers don't sound bad, but I don't have my manual with me today. Don't know anything about a DC kit, but why re-invent the wheel, OEM electronics is usually best. I'm thinking you just had a bad battery. Post #9 here seems relevant http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/96516-yfz450-electrical-question/
  10. But a gas fouled plug won't fire again. And only half-assed with a cleaning.
  11. Hey Mike, we'll be neighbors again. I'm in 118. See ya there man, Dennis
  12. Here's a quote from Bennett131 that pretty much sums it up here in the BHQ... "We give good advice on pretty much everything. From marriage counseling, finances, banshees and even being single. Ever need welding tips, machining advice or even heavy equipment? We got you." The thread it's from, a REALLY good read, well worth the time. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/185387-t5s-shearer-or-sniper/ Oh, and welcome to BansheeHQ!
  13. I can only think of 2 things, severely over charging or positive cable direct to ground. <But you'll melt the cable too. Come to think of it, 2 of my 450's suffered from sand eroding out the resistor right behind the right front tire, and in turn burning the regulator, then blowing all the bulbs, we didn't ride them after that until fixed, might be worth a look.
  14. As of right now, there are only 8 reserve-able spots left up on that hill, and very few anywhere else...looks like it's gonna be a great weekend at LSOK
  15. What did you seal your case halves with?
  16. The problem with the choke is that it is worn out. 1- you can replace the choke plunger 2- you can file the grooves so it stays out 3- you can just hold it out for a minute The problem with it dying is probably because you have plugged pilot jets.
  17. Over oil the K&N? Oil on the outerwear plugging it pores?
  18. I did read on another thread that would cause it. Makes no real sense, but glad you got it fixed and let us know about it.
