  1. Even if it was stripped (and it had better of been) Powder will make things a tight fit.
  2. It's apart, replace it. They're like $15 I'm with the stock is fine crowd. Nothing against the Mull piece, it's quality stuff, as a matter of fact they have one of the very few high flow impellers that should be used.
  3. For sure, you were more than right. He called twice and talked to 2 different people to verify it was there before he made the trip. It was not and no apology was offered. I even gave him a blank check to take in case it was a good deal and he had to have it on a Saturday afternoon. Bottom line...lying fucking car dealers!! Thanks, and yes, I couldn't be more proud. He works hard and hustles on the side. His older brother too. I don't know about Fords or Dodges, but this truck will charge his cell phone by simply just laying it on the console. That is as close to wiping your butt as it gets !!!!
  4. I didn't. I just gave him a ride to the dealership. He just sold his last one for $24000, so put down $25000.00 on this one
  5. You obviously didn't see pics of his last truck Post 71, pg 5, of this thread...and yes it had stacks. I think he's over all that and wants something comfortable and reliable now.
  6. Just dropped off my 18yo son to pick up his new to him 2016 Duramax High Country. Only 1900 miles and $9670 back of sticker.
  7. Ditch them, they are from the factory only for noise suppression or some shit like that.
  8. You need to do a leak down test with the right side cover off.
  9. I can't believe one size on the pilot one way or the other would cause any or all of those problems.
  10. Kidding... <<<< New top end back in 1996 on this one
  11. A little slack in the cable is required so it doesn't pull when turning the steering. Idle RPM is then set with the idle screw, nothing to do with richer or leaner.
  12. Did you check to see if your exhaust is plugged? Seems as if your problems are all over the place.
  13. Use a measuring stick and cut a peice of cardboard in a "L" shape at the correct spec for your carb. << homemade tool Yes changing stuff with cable and caps can affect your idle if that and your idle screws weren't correct. BTW, What carbs? TORS or no? If stock and no, idle screws installed on carb body?
  14. you do realize that there are specific measurements for setting float height, right?
  15. Glad it's running better for you, BUT Get some Yamaha needles Get some good oil Get a ratio rite mix cup Where did you come up with idea of 7oz to a gal now?
  16. Running out of fuel, float not set right.
  17. I've read a lot on ATF/acetone and brake fluid/acetone and Kroil all being great... But PB Blaster has never let me down.
  18. That would be 16:1 You need 16oz to 5 gal at least 20oz to 5gal at best
