  1. Believe me I know your frustration...I had one that wouldn't start for days until I rolled it out of the shop into daylight and finally saw that damn little hose wasn't on just right! (And I was just positive that it was)
  2. You can loosen the bowl drain screws to see if there is any gas in the carbs at all. That will test the needle valves. Other than that, not starting would be a plugged pilot jet. Odd for both pilots or both needle valves to be not letting fuel in.
  3. No, the brass wears and does that = normal, just hold it out. There's a thread on here on how to file the notches back.
  4. The slides only go in backwards if put in the wrong carbs, if you can see the dot in the window they are correct. It should still get fuel and start, with the throttle cracked a little though.
  5. choke hose? slides backwards? bowls on wrong carbs? Did my previous post not show? Still sounds like a choke hose issue to me. you said you had the carbs apart. did you get them back together correctly? gas on? fuel in the tank? We've seen it all here
  6. Make sure that hose is there, in good shape, connected good on both ends
  7. Mattoon Machine on Ebay, also a site sponsor. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BANSHEE-CLUTCH-COVER-New-Design-LOCK-UP-COVER-MFG-By-Mattoon-Machine-/222327332148?hash=item33c3bddd34:g:kYEAAOxygPtSr7Ys&vxp=mtr
  8. I wake up every morning and attempt to talk myself out of shamelessly teasing you. So, I don't know what's going on here. I have no self control.
  9. If you're going back in, just have new ones on hand. The rubber tip will develop an indented ring and not seal
  10. Not that DDQ can't jump, but you're coming off a bit emasculated. Here Dave... http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/emasculate
  11. F.A.S.T always has a good price on them and right now they are offering a 10% holiday discount http://farmandsandtoys.com/ocart2/atv/yamaha/banshee/direct-drive-lock-up-cover.html?filter=47
  12. Did you examine the tip of the float needle when you had it out cleaning it?
  13. I don't know what else to do. Theres an old for sale thread that the guy wouldn't answer anything either. Good Luck

  15. I can't figure out how to do that. But his name is Daniel Hung in Lees Summit MO
  16. Oh wait what? So a multi-disc wet clutch isn't the same as any old manual shift car?
  17. Oh yeah. Both of mine need to warm up some before I pop them in gear. I figure that's normal. But without your cable properly adjusted the clutch shouldn't release at all.
  18. We must be talking about 2 different things. That is mechanically just not possible.
  19. Should be able to adjust it at the perch with just a bit of slack and be golden. Again, your explanation that it worked better with 1/2 a lever pull worth of slack makes no sense.
  20. You need to screw the adjuster IN, so the cable is completely loose
