  1. So what ended up being your original problem?
  2. They can give you a better price on Lone Star products than you buying direct. I bought mine from BVC racing.
  3. Honestly they aren't worth the cost of shipping to just past the point where you would be tired of carrying them.
  4. Anyone got a pic of a +4 arched ladder? Arched ladder
  5. I reread your first thread, an I'm gonna go with torn intake boot or gasket, did you do a leakdown test?
  6. probably nothing serious, just a tuning issue. must likely running lean at full throttle, continue to do so will cause serious damage.
  7. did he sell it cuz it ran like crap? does it have pipes? Not your pilot jet, maybe your mains
  8. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=110585 how-to on building a tester. Is it smoking coolant or oil? What prompted you to do the topend in the first place? sure your compression tester is accurate? got a Clymers manual?
  9. What did you change or have apart since the last time that it ran right?
  10. See if it will kick with the spark plugs out. did you leave the gas on? you can fill a motor with fuel and then bend a rod trying to pull start
  11. Are ladder style swingarms heavy duty enough for sand trail riding, or drag only? I see many different styles, round, oval, box, rectangle tube, with and w/o gussets. just don't want to buy one (of any style) and have it fold up.
  12. X2^^ i've welded on many,never a problem. Maybe just lucky.
  13. Any one at all interested in a clean Blaster? I bought it new, only used at Little Sahara on average 4 times a year. Knobbies are like brand new. Only put them back on this week. It has a Toomey pipe, Cascade seat cover (I shaved the foam on the sides for smaller riders), ext. thumb throttle lever, and 4" over swinger. My kids have outgrown it. You won't find a nicer one. $1500?
  14. They are different, they will fit in the wrong carbs if installed backwards. Easiest way to tell is to -pull off air cleaner and see if the ramp on the bottom of the slide faces you.
  15. Slides in the right carbs? What did you remove to pull the engine?
  16. I've got the same problem after my first trip with the +2+1's. Only ever did it before when I tried offset wheels. Didn't take long to ditch those. I do have a dimple in my stop, I think I'm just gonna throw a little welding wire at it.
  17. I ran a front 12 for years when I mostly rode in a rock quarry, hell, I forgot I had it on and could not launch in the sand without almost flipping over.
  18. Of course, must work the same as oxygenated race fuel.
  19. I'm afraid that's what I'm gonna run into...and probably very little loan value.
