  1. Received my parts today, very pleased. BUMP for good seller.
  2. Chariots Ebay items are current, so it doesn't matter how old the first post is. It's just not his "garage sale" Still good products at good prices. It would probably be best to ask a question about a specific item thru Ebay though.
  3. needle valve assy Quantity 1 - enough for 1 carb. also Krylon Dull aluminum 1403 is a dead match for factory silver frames, you can actually blend it in .
  4. alot of companys offer a spray can self etching primer, I use it on any bare metal, always. clear is up to the individual, i see no sense in it if your base color does not require it It doesn't offer any more protection, it is still just paint. and most spray can company's color is enamel, and clear's are laquer, can wrinkle if not used properly.
  5. yamaha part number 1UA-14190-28-00 needle and seat assembly
  6. I've noticed most aftermarket right side foot pegs don't have the stop for the kicker to hit. Is it not needed or is there some internal mod that would need to be done?
  7. They can be installed backwards if they are in the wrong carbs.
  8. Yea, you're right. I thought of that later, sure think it must of spun. I'd be interestd in what has caused this, I've burped those bolts down with a 3/8 impact countless times and never broke one.
  9. Are you sure the splines are engaging when you put them together?
  10. Carb slides in backwards? You can pull the air cleaner and look to see if the ramp or cutaway on the bottom of the slide is facing you. They can be installed backwards if they are in the wrong carbs.
  11. Thanks, I appreciate that. How tall rear tire? You don't need a lock-up?
  12. I have one in the for sale section, but can't decide to use it to rebuild Cory's old bike or not. If I sold it I might still need a frame. Or, put his old 421 w/override in my purple/yellow bike. Still undecided to have one bike or two. Was wanting your input on the 421 as a play/trail/dune bike? reliable? fuel useage? overheat?
  13. google 205-50-10 or 205-65-10 DOT golf cart tires
  14. I read on Facebook you had a friend looking for a cheap Banshee, I posted one up here, check it out.
  15. SOLD !! 2000 Banshee. I was going to part this out for the frame but I stopped myself. I think it’s to nice for that. I’ve owned it for about 7 years. No stripped threads, no mis-matched bolts. THE GOOD: 20 mins. on a 65.5 bore and pistons from F.A.S.T aftermarket chrome axle billet clutch basket, newish clutches, plate and hub, shift shaft, Mull star, idler bushing, ez spring etc. new Yamaha kicker K-N filter, adapter, outerwear lid,no holes in box & TORS removed Alba graphics and seat cover, decent uncut blue plastic Aluminum push and grab bars near new stock OEM tires and wheels Toomey pipe clamps w/new rubber Chrome handlebars THE BAD: all the clutch parts to try to fix a “hit neutral problem” something internal, only in sand uphill under load previous owner had bent the flywheel, broke very soon after new top-end, so left crank bearing is loose - have good flywheel and have had it running bent left Jet-Hot coated Toomey pipe and silencer NO title THE UGLY: lower case has been welded from an apparent kicker gear malfunction, doesn’t leak and works fine Just throwing this out there to see if any interest, 785-238-4252 in Junction City KS 66441 $800 the way it sits. (I could get it running in no time if interested)
  16. Bump for a pic of a +4 arched ladder swingarm on a banshee?
  17. Cameron did fine job explaining what the trans is designed to do, but also said he has riding buddies that thrash on his overrides regularly. And yes, after talking with him,i wouldn't buy for my purposes, but I already have it. would just like some input on how to ride it. It boils down to me building one bike or two, don't really want a drag only bike. And on a side note; Super nice guy, My call took him away from assembling something and he still made time to answer my questions, I feel guilty as I've not spent any money with him. (yet)
  18. The only thing unreliable about a Banshee is dealing with what a previous owner screwed up. I've had my current one since '96 and have only had to replace chains, sprockets and cables.oil changes and keep the air filer clean. Buy one.
  19. A buddy of mine had a loose screw bouncing around in his.
  20. I bought a 421 serval with a 1-5 Redline dunable override with a lockup. I was going to put this in my bike which I mostly trail ride (I guess that’s what to call it,or play, dune etc.). It only see’s duty in Waynoka. I’ve read 6 yrs worth of threads and talked with Cameron at Redline and have all but talked myself out of this trans. I realize it’s built for dragging, and I do plan to race, but my favorite thing to do is wheelie up and across the face of a dune. I’ve read where some of you say you’d never go back after having an override. Question is will this work for me? Or will I blow it up? Or, can someone here teach me how to use it properly? Any input from from those that have the same type of trans and ride Little Sahara type trails and dunes would be appreciated.
  21. Either the rubber tip is worn or the sides have crap on it and it won't slide freely, or float isn't adjusted
  22. checking the carbs with a sync gauge should have been the first thing your mechanic did.
