  1. really? troll job cause they actually fit or what? hell i was prepared to do some cutting and rewelding but they fit great. can someone post some pics for me if i email them?
  2. well guys i just got my new shearer inframes and the fit and finish is awesome. i really like the double o rings on the head pipe. they bolted right on and clear my pods on my 35 pwks easily. i was afraid at first of the horror stories we hear but mine fit perfect. must have one of the bent frame bikes lol. also no nasa technology needed lol.

  4. thanks jeff the motor has been everything you said it would be. everything arrived quickly and was easy assemble, although i did have a yamaha mechanic helping me... if i end up doing a cub this winter ill give ya another call. everyone else, jeff was awesome to work with and very friendly. i just realized i didnt post it at first but this entire package came from f.a.s.t. , i apologize for not mentioning that earlier on the sharpening of the edges, ive seen inside some of your porting and hjr porting. i tried to mimick just a little of what you guys do without moving things around near as much. i only went about an 1/8 into the cylinder toward the piston. on the cases i just matched the gasket .i was kinda surprised how inconsistent the widths of the dividers were in the cylinders. with that being said i am by no means a pro porter. ive also seen guys with carbide bits and cartridge rolls really screw things up by making things way to big or so thin it cracked quickly. the bigger is better mentality has really got some guys in trouble. i wasnt goin in thinking im billy bad ass on a high price set of cylinders. last of all, it will be headed to sandtrax dyno in tulsa soon with a set of shearer pipes. ill post the graph in the dyno section when it happens.
  5. i run a 21x12x8 6 paddle extreme on my 2010 x model . no lid, bafflle removed is the only mods.
  6. got some pipes thanks everyone
  7. looking for either shearer or procircuits
  8. did you lose much bottom end when you switched? i cant make up my mind on wether i want to get pro circuts or shaerer pipes. looking at the dyno room threads the pro circuts look like they would be a great overall match.
  9. thanks for the info, i did not sharpen it to a knife edge. i didnt narrow the divider were the piston rubs the cylinder wall at all . im no pro at porting but i do understand some of the basics and im always open to learning more
  10. i bought everything to build a 421 serval last week and finally got all together and ridden yesterday. the combo is a hotrods 4 mil crank, 68mm serval cylinders, cool head with 24cc domes, upp intakes, v force 3 reeds, 35mm pwk carbs and the exhaust is fmf sst. the cylinders were clean up ported by jeff at f.a.s.t. then i gasket matched the cylinders and cases. i also sharpened the divider in the intake and sharpened the dividers in transfers. i did not raise or lower any timing or drastically reshape anything. i know the sst pipes are killing it . i plan on getting better pipes but the injection pump went out in my diesel so it may take a week or two. this thing is freakin fun to ride. its not lazy down low like my 358cc was. i switched from a 13/41 gearing to 15/41 gearing and the engine still doesnt bog down . in the trails im not down shifting near as much just roll into the throttle and hold on. out in the open it starts to pull really hard then kinda lays over up top, i believe because of the pipes. as soon as i get some decent pipes on it were gona head to sandtrax in tulsa for a dyno tune then ill post up the graph. im pretty excited with how its running but then again who isnt when they build a new engine.
  11. big foot is like a fast honda, you hear about them but nobody can find them.
  12. bhq home of passionate nut swingers.
  13. i dont claim to speak for loco but i think his point is shearer isnt gonna fix the fitment issues with a bunch of swingers talking about how nice he is. the pipes make great power and thats why so many use them despite the fitment issue, but they are not gonna get a updated better fitting version if everyone just falls in line.

    pro circut pipes

looking for a nice clean set of pro circuts
  15. x2, he responded quickly and gave me a basic rundown. personaly, i dont care what his "black magic" is. he could machine the thing butt naked for all i care. as long as it works the way he claims, for the price he qouted, and is returned on time
  16. you got big tits and wearing a thong i may follow you, otherwise im out.
  17. the paddles were exactly like he said and he shipped them fast.
  18. cause of george w bush. hey, blamin bush works for obama so i thought id try it.
  19. anyone know a good place to get 35mm keihin carbs??
  20. id do 1 thing at a time. get you some new plugs and do a proper plug chop. dont tell the bike how much fuel it needs, let it tell you.
  21. i believe the 110 will allow you to use regular pistons, which would be one reason to continue making it. the longer the rod the less angle it has to run at, the idea being to put the least amount of sidward push and the most amount of up and down push on the piston as physically possible. the difference is probably not enough to matter to most people but the guys wanting to build the longest lasting most efficient engine will choose the 115. think of it this way., a thompson machine gun will spray bullets just fine,a m16 does the same thing with more accuracy. this only my opinion and ive been wrong many times.
  22. dave at noss machine is very friendly, just give him a call
  23. just did mine today. could not get the bolt to budge so we drilled the center hole in the bolt big as we could without breaking through it, then we sawzalled it on both sides . since the bolt was very thin from the drilling it was much easier to cut it.
  24. thank you very much. so how does the plugs look to you guys?
