  1. Under $5 a gallon with the whole setup. In race gas just that much cheaper where you are?
  2. Do they have any of these hillclimb events in the Northwest. All I ever see is mid-west and east coast.
  3. Used the tether kill, "mystery motor failure" trick at Sandlake a few times in years past. Word is they've caught on to that and wrote a friend of a friend a ticket for something like interfering with a police investigation or obstruction of justice for trying it. FTW.
  4. I dealt with him just over a year ago on a stock tranny, neutral down shift drum mod. Everything worked out fine with core refund and the shift drum works flawless. In the meantime, I've heard he's taken being a complete shit bag to a whole new level. People always ask when they get off my bike where they can get their drum modded. I don't want to refer them to WCR if all this bad press is true. Who else out there does a re-cut drum like he does?
  5. I've always heard stay OEM or go with UPP for bigger carb setups.
  6. The manual has tolerances for OEM plates. Do you use those same numbers for aftermarket clutches?
  7. I've always had good luck with Jeff''s clutch kit with soft springs on my 88HP bike with lock-up. So is the dune/trail kit from Driveline what I'm actually buying from FAST? Can you get that kit with OEM springs instead of the 20% stiffer ones? Don't think I need stiffer with my setup.
  8. Did this "great deal" 472 super serval wampus ever get built? Curious how it would compare to a regular 421 serval.
  9. The Lincoln bike must be running an out of frame boost bottle and engine ice. In that case, 222mph is probably jetted rich with minimal timing.
  10. I figured you had some big carbs by that graph. He wants to try mine with 28pwk's first and see what they do.
  11. That looks like a badass all duner. What pipe and carb setup are you running? Sorry if it says on the dyno sheet but it's kind of small.
  12. Smart. I'm with you on the compression and timing. Someone mentioned you had additional port work and I was just verifying it wasn't as cast. Have you had it on a dyno?
  13. So did Cam build it as a ported pump gas setup and you just run the AV for extra protection?
  14. I think this has been touched on but when I got my neutral down drum back from Whitaker a few years ago it came with a spring like that to be installed between one of the shift forks and the side case. Can't remember the exact orientation. Mine wasn't an override.
  15. Is Sprinklerman's on race or did he stay with pump?
  16. Is the HQ ride always in the same place or does it move around from year to year?
  17. I read somewhere that the Servals really like the drag pipes. Someone did a bunch of dyno's with predominately mid range pipes to see if they could pick-up even more TQ. From what I remember reading numbers actually went down. Maybe the builders out there can explain this. I think a lock-up would be pretty mandatory. Cam's pump gas Servals are making 89HP with 50TQ.
  18. My concern with going any bigger than 421 is building too much motor for my chassis. I primarily dune but at least a handful of times a year I hit up the local MX tracks on practice days. I don't want to go any longer than the +4 setup I'm already running in the rear. How far are you out on that 10mil?
  19. He built my stock cylinder motor and it was a beast.
  20. Just dropped my motor off at Redline to have Cam build a ported, race gas, 421 Serval. Hoping to get a cross between a Serval and a Cheetah. Excited to see what he comes up with...
