  1. The intake is off a Yamaha 440 sled and modified to fit banshee.
  2. The 35 pwk fits in the boot real nice. Not sure if I can go any bigger before it won't fit the boot. Where would I get another boot to fit the larger carb?
  3. I don't remember what the intake is off of. The member I bought it off said they worked great. It has decent sized runners. I should look back in my history and contact him to ask.
  4. I still have to get the rebuild and tors kits for them before I can try them out.
  5. I have a gasket on both sides. I would hope I got a good seal. I will do a leak down though.
  6. Good Idea on the cooper washers. I think I have an E series needle too. Should I leave the 60 pilot alone and go bigger on the main?
  7. I have to get another rubber stopper before I can do a leak down. I have a leakdown test setup for blaster but only one exhaust plug.
  8. I have a 2-1 intake on it for now and I grabbed my blasters 35 pwk with 60 pilot and and put in a 180 main. I have the stock carbs but I have to do the tors elimator, rebuild and rejet them. I will try both setups and keep the one I like. I don't know if the 2-1 is the cause of concern number one. When I revved it up a to say 3000-4000 rpm after I let off the throttle the rpms still raced up to the point that I had to hit the kill switch. I don't have anything on the filter end of the carb, straight to atmosphere. Restart it and its fine as long as I dont rev it to high it will idle back down. Any ideas what is causing this? I have a coolant leak coming from one of the head nuts on the noss head. I would think a dab of silicone will cure that. My kick has a weak return spring. Ordered a newer model one.
  9. I was thinking around 27.5 -30 pilots and 340-360 on mains
  10. They look the same on the web. I'm wondering if they are.
  11. I have a set of good stock carbs. Any input on where I should start with the pilots and mains? I just did a compression test and I have 130 psi on both cylinders. Take a look at my sig to see my combination. Altitude here is 900 feet
  12. Just did a compression test. I have 130 psi on both cylinders. Any higher and it might require higher octane.
  13. Either people love them or hate them. I believe if you have a good intake that will make the difference on how well it performs.
  14. I was leaning towards the 2-1 for better fuel economy and faster re jet if I need to on the trail.
  15. I have the stock carbs as well. I was going to try both setup's and keep the one I like and sell the one I don't. What would I shoot for pilot/mains on the stockers?
  16. The intake is a custom setup off a sled that I bought from a board member.
  17. My elevation is 900 feet. I am running 20 cc domes. The jugs are stage 3 DIY port. I'm getting ready to buy the carb. I was thinking a 34- 36 pwk. What size pilot/mains should I start with?
  18. I already have the kit and the loctite. I will just go ahead and do it. Perhaps this weekend if I get some spare time. Spare time is the biggest challenge.
  19. Got the wire harness cleaned up and routed. I have my extended brake lines on. Aligned the front end. Getting closer. Just need a carb now and I can fire it up
  20. Do I need a 6x1.0 heilcoil kit then? I have never installed one.
