I came across this looking for a six pack gas tank. Just wondering if anyone has tried it. I don't like the oversized gas tanks that are available for banshee. So I was going to go the route of six pack rack.

Why are PJ's more difficult to tune?

I think I will wait to ride it to tune it.

I have several needles, pilots and mains for a 35mm pwk. I found a decent deal on a PJ carb. Do they all work on the PJ? How is the performance of a PJ compared to a PWK?

I have heard some debate over this. Some guys say just install the pod filter right to the carb. Others say to have at least a 6" pipe extension then filter. I would think the pipe extension will help straighten out the air flow before the carb.

I took care of my coolant leak like suggested, great idea, thanks! Still waiting on a couple more hundred of parts before I can start it again. Plus its super cold here, probably wait for some warmer weather. Doesn't it only take a 10 degree change to change one jet size?

Some guys are saying to run a EEK needle. I have an EEG in the garage. That would be a touch richer overall diameter is smaller. I was thinking setting the clip second from the top. I still have to take care of some other issues before I can fire it up again. Plus its like zero degrees here lately. I should probably wait for some warmer weather anyway. Right now there is a 60 pilot and a 180 main. I had it running less then 5 minutes trying to get 3 heats cycles. I shut it down when the coolant started leaking from the head nuts. I went and got some copper washers and acorn nuts to remedy that problem.

I would like to utilize my parking brake if possible.

Waiting on a new kick gear and spring and a new clutch cable. The original doesn't slide nice. Imagine that. I have to heilcoil two screw holes on the clutch cover. I have to replace the head nuts with acorn nuts to seal the coolant system. I have switch needles in the carb and bump up the main. Just bought a durablue +4 axle. Should put me at 49" wide with stock rims. The original rear carrier is stripped out. Next purchase is a 90 or newer carrier and new seals and bearings.

I'd like to be able to use the parking brake on my machine. If there isn't a cable out there then who makes a clutch lever that deletes the parking brake mechanism?

I'm running a Noss head with 20cc domes and I get 130 psi without the exhaust blocked off.

I stole my blasters 35 pwk to see if it fits the boot and if it will fire up. I will probably just get another one 35 pwk. I already have a ton of jets and needles for keihin.

I have no where to ride it around the Milwaukee area. There is a small section of road thats on public land that doesn't see any traffic. Its a pain but I have brought my blaster there to do a wot plug chop. I have to go at least 3 hours to get to the public trails. I was able to tune my blaster the same way. I don't see why I can't do the same with the banshee. Right now I have a 2-1 intake and a 35mm pwk carb. I have the stock carbs and the 2-1. I want to see what one will perform better for my combination. Define FMCS

Correction, not a different taper. Just brushed up on my needle conversations. EEK has a slightly larger diameter then EEG. The EEG will be a tough more rich then a EEK.

Correction I have a EEG needle, should be close, just a different taper I believe.

I looked today and I have an EEK needle that I could put in it. I have a 190 main too. I still have a few things that I need to do before I can fire it up again. I have no where to ride it so all I can do it dial in the pilot.

What szie are the acorn nuts? I would like to keep the 12mm OD. But the local ACE store only has them in 13mm

How does one do a plug chop with no chain or sprocket? Even after I get it mobile I still have no where to ride it.
