I have a good set of yfz 450s fronts installed and I just bought a rear used PEP rebuild with a heavier spring from a board member. It showed up today and I put it in and took a measurement in the rear and I had 29 when I pulled it all the way up. It sagged one inch. When I sat on it I had 23. Too much. I cranked the spring down to the max and I ended up with 29" and 25" better but I was shooting for only 3 to 3/12 of travel. When I jumped up and down on the bike with my body weight (225 pds) just the rear was traveling, the front didn't budge. The fronts were already cranked down to max spring tension. I brought them back about 7/8" from the top of the treads or about 1/4 cranked down. At that point the normal sag is about 5". I get about 1" of travel from a relaxed stance to me sitting on it. I get just a little bit of travel in the front suspension but not much. It doesn't seem balanced to me. Any comments?
