  1. So what exactly is a FMF SST model? Muffs for SST won't fit gold series FMF's? I don't have fatty's I have the gold series pipes. Is it true that fatty's and gold series are pretty much the same pipe?
  2. Just purchase a stage 3 port templates. Ken Occonor racing also has a video on them.
  3. I have the fmf fatty's for front pipe's. Is that considered a sst brand? I have the Q series on my blaster. One county cop said that they didn't allow anything but stock exhaust on a machine and he didn't care if it was forestry approved. He still gave me a written warning.
  4. I was looking for something that bolts on or slips on.
  5. Does anyone know of a universal spark arrester that will work with fmf pipes. I repacked the muffs today but its still pretty loud. Some counties have a 96DB limit and require spark arrester.
  6. I put the zerks in and it still won't take grease on two of them. I'll have to pull the hardware and clean it out.
  7. The board member that I bought the A arms off of said that yfz's will work on them. I had some more time to mess with it today. The first thing I noticed is the front tires were low. So I shot some air in them. I lost my low pressure gauge so I don't know how much is in them. That will certainly effect ride height. I also measured the thickness of the stock spring and the one I bought. The spring on the stock is 10.3mm. The one on the bike is 11.2mm. So it is a heavier spring. I took a look at where the compression and rebound adjustments were at. They both were cranked down to the max. I backed them off and have them at 1 1/2 turns from loose. I checked the rear and those were both loose. I cranked both of them down to max. Now when I jump test the bike it feels way way better. I will tighten the preload on the fronts my next chance. And then see if I should lessen the rear spring preload. I still have 4 inches of travel measured at the grab bar from a relaxed position to me sitting on it. I read somewhere that you want around 3 to 3 1/2 inches of travel in the rear and 2" in the front. I set my blaster up like this and it rides great. I heard from a friend that you want to have the front and rear ride heights within an inch from each other. Why do you want the front lower then the rear?
  8. Better check with your local road regulations first though. In Wisconsin its a max width of 102". The pop up measures out at 103". I did it anyway figuring no one would catch the 1" over the limit. So far I have not been pulled over and I've used it a dozen times.
  9. The rear end is almost there. I have the parts coming to tie up the exhaust and the air filter. Every day it gets a little closer and my ebay watch list keeps getting smaller.
  10. I have a 10'x10's canopy and some chairs and I got the instant shaded patio. The deck also works good for working on your quad. It also provides shade to the coolers and rain off the firewood thats under it. Its also great for the middle of the night piss.
  11. I thought of that too, over the axle but it would make loading and unloading the bikes more of a hassle. I thought if I had enough funds that I would build a rail system and be able to slide it to any place on the trailer. I only have 2K invested in this setup. I got the trailer for 550 and the camper for 600. The camper needed a lot of work. Its been gutted and rebuilt.
  12. The only draw back to a set up like this is that you have to find a campground that has trail access on site. Its too much a pain in the ass packing it all down to use as a trailer once all of your shit is in it for the weekend. The plus is having a camper instead of a tent. Thats nice. I used to tent it up till I built that last spring. I sleep great in it after a long day of riding and couple of good stiff drinks or several on the 7" of foam. Its like getting double time sleep. Good thing cause I only usually get 4-5 hours a night when I'm out of town with my friends.
  13. Yeah the tongue weight is excessive. I can still pull it with four quads on it with my windstar. I had the tranny heavy duty rebuilt and I replaced the shocks with coil overs. It doesn't ride that bad. I just go slow and pray no one pulls out in front of me.
  14. Thought you guys might like this idea. It came to me in a dream, lol.
  15. Here are some measurements and pics. I do not have a second person here to take the measurement while I'm on it. I eye balled it best I could. When I'm on it I have 7 1/2 to the bottom of the frame by the exhaust. I have 8" to the bottom of the frame near the foot peg. The pics with the tape measure is with no one on it and in a sagged position. The rear doesn't sag at all while the front you can lift up 5 inches.
  16. I haven't had a chance yet. I have this thing called work thats holding me up
  17. Pics, price? If its easier to send via text. 414-418-8550
