I'm going back to the stock set up to deal with water on the trails.

I went riding this past weekend and I had to go through several puddles. This was not good from my open foam filters. It got to the point that I thought I may have water in the carbs. I put the bike on its side and water starter running out of hole on the top of my chrome waterpump cover. How can I keep this from happening again? Can I silicone the hole shut? I'm going to a stock air box and the single filter adaptor. After this weekend with the amount of water I had to go through was not good from my fresh rebuild.

Unless you crank it over on occasion. Better then sitting with the clutch engaged

No coolant leaks. The machine has sat for a year without starting.

I've had to clean mine a few times now when the bike sits. Is there anything available that resists rusting?

Or is there a steel plate available that is more resistant to rusting?

Does anyone offer them or are they something that doesn't exist. I have had to clean my steel plates a few times when the bike sits too long.

I've been looking for something that has a sniffer that will tell you air/fuel ratio. Is there anything on the market that is reasonability priced? I see KAL products here and there but they are no longer made and might be troublesome if they fail.

I'm building a stock 1mm over build. Everything is stock except a new Noss head with 21cc domes at 775 ft above sea level. Do I go bigger on mains and pilots?

sleeper06. I'm talking about the stock voltage regulator. I don't know how many watts the stock one can handle. If I have two 80 watt bulbs I would have to utilize both wires coming off of the race tech stator. running trough a voltage regulator and a rectifier and running one to each headlight.

I have the race tech 200 watt stator. I'm only using one of the wires. Should I wire up the second wire with another voltage regulator? How exactly should I go about getting these bulbs to work?

Just took my bike out of storage and I have one bulb burnt out and I'm going riding this weekend. I had 45 watt blue ones in it. They worked ok. I looked on ebay and these 80 watt LED bulbs are close enough to me that I would get them in time. Will they work on a stock housing, wiring? I have the good stator on it. Forget what one it is. But it came recommend on this site. It puts out two 100 watt outputs. I have only one wired to the headlghts.

So friends of mine are riding their quads in the city and the police are not doing anything about it. When they do get stopped the cops tell them to go home. I've been thinking about putting street legal tires on my Banshee but I cannot find anything that directly fits. Is there a way to do it? I believe if I put Fender extenders on it and DOT tires on it. You don't even need turn signals because there are motorcycles on the road that don't have turn signals and they legally can you use hand signals. I had a car pull out in front of me and I laid a motorcycle down and I don't feel safe on a motorcycle anymore. I do on my quad.

Have a friend of mines apart and went to check it and its a good 1/4' of cushion play in it. What the recommended repair that uses the stock basket? Does anyone sell a cushion kit?

My apoligies. Stock rim is 9"

I can't find anyone that makes a 10" paddle tire for stock rims. It seems everyone starts at 11" and goes up. I can't find an affordable 11" or 12" rim for my machine either. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
