  1. The USPS is an asshole organization with asshole employees working at it.
  2. That's pretty stand up work.... Why the fuck would you even take pictures of that shit/work? Reminds me of homemadeturbo.com
  3. I like this explanation. Yeah, it's a lot of ching, but prolly worth it in the long run.
  4. "That piece of shit wouldn't run 138 mph if you dropped it out of an air plane. " This cracked me up.
  5. Makes me wanna buy a Mac miller shirt, lol
  6. I do, reeds are still around too. Also, I'm holding onto the pipes.
  7. I bought BigRed350x's 485pv motor from him. I have zero complaints with this setup. The lowend/midrange power delivery is great (as stated). I mostly trail ride my bike and find much less down shifting is required with this motor. The power delivery is linear like a 4poke. That's my $.02. I'm pleased.
  8. Since when does preheating something help maintain a "nice stable arc" and control arc wandering or whatever? I've tig'd plenty of cast alu shit, with preheat and without, and i've never had any issues like that. In fact, I wouldn't even preheat that head, maybe if it super contaiminated to help pull the shit out of it, thats it. They aren't that thick. I guess if you had a Fisher-Price my first tig welder with no balls, preheat might help. I also wouldn't use any welding supplies made by Forney, like the stainless brush pictured in the first page of this pretty fucking rad thread.
  9. Mostly trail riding, I'm really impressed with the power delivery of this motor on the trail. I find I don't have to down shift as much, tons of lowend grunt. I'm in Western New York, about 15miles away from where Nick lives, lol. And yeah, I'd love to head out to Michigan and ride dunes! We really don't have much to ride around here!
  10. Well, I'm ported by wildcard racing, 19cc domes cut by Titan Racing. My motor is BigRed350's old 485pv setup. Running Vito's fat bastard pipes, c12 and klotz r50 40:1. Nick made like 95hp on his setup. Maybe I should buy his carbs off him.
  11. I'm running a 485pv motor on 35pwks (not air strykers). 48 pilot and 160 main. Am I doing this wrong? Should be running larger carbs? Bike runs fantastic, plugs look as they should, prolly could go even go down to a 155 main. Sorry to thread jack.
  12. I'm running these on a 485 PV motor and have no complaints. On the other hand, I have nothing to compare them to, as these have been the only pipes I've ran on this motor. I did run them on a stock stroke/bore 350 with hardly any mods (some fucking Toomey intake filter thing, VF2 reeds, and proper jetting). Not exactly the best on low end, when I added the VF2 reeds, It seemed to wake it up quite a bit more on the low end. I'd like to try some Shearer SB's on the 485 motor, but these work for now, so I quess I'll save the $550.00 for something else.
  13. The goof might have dicked with the float height. When I put my 35mm PWK's on, I had to adjust the float height (prolly could even go up a little higher, as a tiny bit of fuel does piss out after you throw a couple revs). Or, the floats are stuck, as stated earlier.
  14. First for sale, a set of Vito's "Fat Bastard" pipes & silencers. Pipes have been repaired (got them like that from the previous owner), doesn't hinder performance, don't leak or anything like that, nor can you see the repair as that part faces the inside of the bike. Silencers I just re-packed, only about 4 hours of riding on the repack. Reason for selling: I recently went to cheetah PV motor, and these pipes fit like shit with the new cylinders and 35mm carbs. They fit perfectly fine with the stock cylinders though. $275.00 shipped Pics: V-Force V2 reeds with stock carb boots & cross over tube. $80.00 shipped Stock Coil and plug wire $25.00 shipped Toomey 2:1 High flow intake w/ outerwear (maybe 10hrs on this) $60.00 shipped Please PM me for payment info, I will get pics of the other stuff forsale soon. Thanks for looking!
  15. Spoken like a true fggt! lol! ....i kid, i kid! Picking up hydro clutch setup today, thanks Nick!
  16. Nick, I'll be calling you in the next day or so! Thanks!
