  3. WTF did I do wrong. I have spark but when the key switch is on and off....any ideas what I done wrong. Black/white is ran to the key

  5. Its not being a pussy...Its called wanting to be able to race the next day. Ever been thrown from a quad, If you haven't you haven't been racing or riding for long, you will grab for whatever you can upon being ejected and the twist is gonna make your spill worse.

  8. Jeff sent me different base gaskets bolted them on squish is at .040-.041 thats what I was lookin for I also pressure tested it lost 4psi in 6 min reed/intake gaskets leaked like a biotch, a lil RVT now I have an air tight motor. Getting closer.
  9. My old pipes were T'5s now Im bolting on CPI inframes small bore...Im currently running 33 PWK jetting is 155 main 45 pilot CEL needle on middle, my question is do I need to fatten my jetting or will I be ok 1500-1600 ft ele.

  12. Hell guys I can see what Im doing now that you explained it to me...yea I know I was making it more difficult than it really is just wanted to make sure I did it right. Ive got too much time and money in it this winter to F**** it up with the wiring.
  13. ok i have another question im working on an 04 I have deleted all lighting and the kill switch on the bars I am keeping the key switch though...now what grounds do I need to keep 1 ground the key switch to the frame 2 there is two wires coming off the CDI unit one black and one black/white do i ground that one also that was the old engine kill on the bars or just clip it off
  14. Yea Radar im running +4 gas motor stock stroke and bore .040 over was running T5's and going to run CPI inframes. I should probably call Jeff and get thicker gaskets coming. Before my rebuild I had right at .041-.042 squish that was with an 8yr. old crank and a 2yr. old topend...I installed a 350 Hotrods crank this time around I wonder if my tolerances are tighter now everything being new.
  15. New topend bolted on jugs and head tonight checked squish its at .036-.037 is that too little for clearance and gonna be catastrofic or can I run it. I mainly Drag race its a dune port with 19cc domes running 50/50 mix 91 pump VP110 I need all your professinal answers.

  17. On the OEM yamaha crank seal on the stator side the green dot or mark faces out

Tonight I installed my Hotrods crank put cases together and primary gear on tomarrow night the pistons jugs intakes getting it ready to pressure check it probablly sun I want the gasket material on the cases to fully set before pressure. You guys say add 6 psi and how long does it need to hold pressure.

  22. I bought some PWK 33's from Jeff they work great for mid to WFO...Just be sure to buy PWK, If you can jet the stockers you can jet these plus they flow very good. Stockers work good also unless you have a drag port. Are you really set on them FMF pipes...If you are interested I have a set of T5's I could get rid of PM me if you want some info on them
  23. Just courious do you all use a ring compressior or just squeeze the rings in place and slide the jug over the piston.
