  1. My normal race series was cancelled this morning due to standing water on the ice so I drove 3 hours north to the Central Wisconsin series. This is my first time racing up there and I'm not quite set up on suspension yet but I was pretty happy with a 3rd place finish. I think if I had been a bit more aggressive in the turns I may have been able to do better...
  2. Just got my 3rd motor from Cam a few weeks ago. Customer service is one of my top priorities when deciding on where to take my business. I destroyed a few motors last year and had some problems when I got this one too, Cam was there anytime I had question and even went out of his way to contact me on Sunday mornings to see how my races went and if I needed any more help. It turns out my problem was just a bad ground the entire time but Cam was even nice enough not to tell me what a complete dumbass i was. He'll definitely be getting all of my future business!
  3. I had mine done at a local place last year. Next time I'm going to milineum
  4. Not sure what all he does. He's doing my stock rear for me right now. Nice, helpful and prices seem decent
  5. You could try Seth @ WWW.sfracingonline.com
  6. I just got involved in the club last year but so far it seems pretty great. Everyone is nice and helpful, competition is fairly friendly, entry fees go to podium purses, etc. The Alan Johnson memorial 2 day race last year had over 2k in purse $ and tons of great door prizes (Helmets, gear, and Go Pros. You just need to get out of Canada's Mexico and come to a real state to race
  7. Southern Wisconsin Ice Racing 2015 schedule Jan 11th Jan 18th Jan 24-25 (Alan Johnson Memorial) Feb 8th Feb 15th Feb 22nd Sign up is from 7:30-9am, racing starts at 10:00 On Lake Wisconsin @ Remi's Thirsty Moose N3135 County Road V Poynette, WI http://www.swiraclub.com/
  8. Just dump some fresh bottom end fluid in the carbs in spring and you'll be good to go
  9. Too many guys who've never actually ridden a FAST banshee
  10. Looking for something decent for the rear. I'm OK with having to send out for revalve and seals. Just don't want some beat up pos.
  11. If using nylon nuts on the inside it can't be that much weight is it? Next time I'm near the local Fastenal I'll probably stop in and get a few so I can calculate actual added weight. (not sure if the 10mil cub could spin them )
  12. I think its 715-590-2945. It took me a lot of calls and emails to get thru to him. Looks like it was well worth it though
  13. Just checked out that MF link. That is crazy expensive. My rears with alum rims and some nice wraps were only $470
  14. I talked to Larry when I ordered them about my concerns over throwing studs. He said if I was really worried I should get some nylon nits to screw on the inside. Anyone up in canuckland do that?
  15. Last year was my first year racing. I got a great low stance @49" wide with about 1-2" higher in front. Had a 10mil cub built by redline. It handled and rode great, tons of power... my number one issue was tires. I had no clue what I was doing so I threw 1 stud per lug on some 826's. That was alright, but I was a dumbass and rolled it in and out of my concrete garage. Needless to say I wasn't hooking up for shit. If you have a little $$ to play with I'd highly recommend contacting Larry strangefeld for a real tire setup. I just got my rears with custom wraps from him last week and they look AMAZING. Almost all of the WI guys who are at the top use his tires.
  16. I use avg and spybot. Been using them for many years and never had any problems
  17. Would be cool. But in the mean time, I drew up a sketch and sent mine to JD. They came back exactly how I wanted
  18. I was one of the guys who had new lower shock mounts welded on to adjust ride height. I love it. I'd never trust any of the front lowering kits. If you look thru some of the flat track threads there's a few detailed pics of my mounts and the ones I copied
  19. Always a blast up there. Is the soil pretty high in iron like over by Hurley? Always hated trying to clean shit up after a weekend there...
  20. I live 20 min north of Madison. Got a decent titled frame for $175
  21. Crazy, I copied a guy who made arms that look just like those... Sent from my XT901 using Tapatalk
  22. The whole "draining" idea is worthless. That only drains the transmission oil. You need to be looking for pieces/damage in by the crank. The ONLY good way to do that is to split the cases. Sent from my XT901 using Tapatalk
