  2. porting prices range from one syle to another.. probaly anywhere from 250ish-500ish.. call any site sponser up for pricing.. i had F.A.S.T due my whole motor.. id recommend them to anyone!!
  3. screw the swingarm and the steering stabilizer.. get it ported!!!
  4. take that damn "tors" off.. also if you have the factory parking brake set up remove that also!! my tors made my quad act all funky at times!! thats why it went byebye!
  5. the essentric srew adjust where the shifter sits on the shift star. adjust till the shift star pins have equal distence between shifter.. i cant remember if you adjust with it in nutural or in gear. maybe someone will chime in!! i think nutural.. but i could be wrong!!
  6. sift star will help.. but make sure ur essentric srew is adjust properly. i had the same problem. all i had to do was adjust the essentric srew
  7. a good running bolt on banshee that has been turned correctly will usally be enough to take care of most 450s out there as long as rider/weight/traction are somewhat equal!! a ported banshee is just on another lever.. and a ported 4mil done correctly is WOW!!.. i had both and loved each setup.. but when in doubt always go bigger!!lol if you decide to stick with the stock chassis there are tons of frames/rollers that can be picked up cheap! i would definetly upgade the stock shocks and aarms if you decide to go that route!

  10. with the pods and the cooler temps id say 310-320 to start just to be on the safe side.. probally be ok with the 300s but id start richer untill you know for sure!(plug chops)good luck!
  11. well i made a reply earlier to this post about full flight aarm and i opened my mouth too soon! i really liked them when i got them but now after 3, thats right 3 easy rides the hiem joints are getting sloppy already.. and they are the black hiems!wtf!! anyone out here now if you can replace these pos hiem joints with ball joints?? i should of just spend the extra couple hundred bucks!!

  13. your work is only as good as your tools!! its better to spend the extra money for some tools like TORQUE WRENCHES/gauges/welders..ect! imo! snap on has some great products..expensive but great.
  14. i have a noss head..when i had stock stroke and ported cylinders i had 20cc domes..i had 155 points per cylinder.. i ran 93 all day without a problem. now with the 4mil set up i have 21cc dome (cut of course for the 4 mil) and it has 152ish per cylinder! the noss head is a great starting point for performance.. but as was stated before dont expect huge gains just with the head..you'll mainly feel a differnce down low in the rpm range!
  15. i call him all the time.. im a pain in the ass!lol.. if your serious about this built call him up and he'll set you staight! he is a super dude.. just remember, figuring out exectly what you want is part of the "build" and there is no one better to ask questions then the builder!! i have a 4 mil dune/play port with boost ports..and all the other little goodies.. i dont have the pwk35s tuned perfect yet but over all its a super fun/fast bike..power across the whole curve! serval cylinders are also nice though.. call him up and he'll tell you exectly everything you want to know!
  16. id say you pretty much have everything.. just figure another 2-3 hundred to be safe.. a complete new build really never goes as planned..at least not for me haha! i just got my 4mil back from Jeff as well.. they do amazing work! your best bet imo is to call jeff up and spend some time with him.. tell him exectly want your after and he'll hook you up for sure! good luck with the build..your gonna love it when its done!

  18. little tip.. use some grease on the orings.. you dont need much.. all i do is put some grease on thumb a pointer fingers and then run the oring through my fingers. this will make the oring tacky and you can keep them in place with easy! you probally pinched an oring if its leaking.
  19. dude first of all go up on your mains or ur gonna burn that thing up..270-300prob. and ur floats are probally sticking.. you should be able to TRAIL ride that thing for a least 3 hours on a tank, no problem!! good luck
  20. wow!! really enjoyed reading this one!!hahaha. dude get your stock cylinders ported..dune/play port maybe.. youll love them for sure!! everyone i know with athena kits are all on 4pokers.. but they all hate them!
  21. i just ordered two other needles to try to fix my problem.. ccg and ceg. the ccg is the richest needle that i could find in the "c" series.. but both are richer then the cel needle from 1/16-1/2 throttle! hopefilly this fixes my promblem.. if not i guess ill have to try those n8re! thanks for the help.
