  1. By no means was i ragging on passion. Just making a point that all quick turn arounds arent wham-bam jobs. And yes, Cam had the crank in stock so all parts were readily available. And ya better not of been referring to me as a fucking idiot!
  2. I understand that with back ordered parts there is nothing that can be done but wait. With that said, quick down around times are not necessarily a "wham-bam" build! I had redline do a complete 10cub build from scratch. He also spent quite a bit of time on his dyno to ensure it was just right! The motor was out of my hands for just under a month. Thats with shipping from pa to Oregon and back. I can assure you that its not a "wham-bam" motor! Now maybe i send the motor to him at just the right time, dunno??
  3. X2^^!! Nice job! And congrads to the trophy!!
  4. I had full flight arms and tie rods on my bike for two yrs. no problems whatsoever. Recently put asr arms on and had great luck with them as well
  5. Man, you guys are gonna find out whats up when the PA FUCKS show up!
  6. I love my fireball+6! I got they hd one. I think you could run it over with a tank and it would hold up!
  7. so i think im smarter then this fool Lol! Well maybe.. But thats not saying much
  8. not sure what its there for.. but im sure the factory put it there for a reason! and im also sure the factory is WAY smarter then these fools^^^
  9. Any interest in selling just the tires? Id have no use for the rims.
  10. I ran small bore cpis on my 421. I wanted the most all around power. The cpis worked outstanding with that setup
  11. dont just chop the wires and tape them up. spend the time and remove all the unwanted wires from the harness. it will look much cleaner
  12. a new razor blade cuts right through the rubber
  13. if you want a sync tool get a good one! fast sells them. i used to think i could sync the carbs perfectly by eye until i used the tool.. it made me realize my eyes were not as good as i thought
  14. i would first make a leak down tester to ensure you have no big air leaks! if the motor is all sealed up then it sounds to me you could be way lean on your needle position. find out what clip position your currently in and then lower the clip 2 notches and try that. but in all honesty it sounds like an air leak. another thing to inspect are the reed peddles. a broken, cacked or just worn out reed will cause the symtoms your discribing
  15. in all honesty, the new 450 bike run damn good. it takes quite a bit of motor work to run with those bikes! by neighbor is an "a" rider... i raced his rmz and yzf 450's with every one of my motors. stock stroke stock cyl. ported motor = fail, 4mil stock cyl. dune ported = fail, my 421 and 465 cubs got the trick done tho. if riders are equal in weight and skill the banshee is gonna have to have 75+ hp to get the job done
  16. You dont need s vac. Just use a transparent or clear hose that fits over the bleeder. Suck the hose until you see a steady stream of fluid. Just make sure you keep the master cyl. full of fluid or you will suck more air into the lines!
  17. looks and sounds real good! how did your new chassis and motor work for ya?
  18. like stated above big elevation differance will effect jetting. first thing is go over the motor and make sure you have zero air leaks. once you know you are air tight then with your current jetting perform a plug chop to make sure your main jet is in the ball park. if i were you id bump up the pilot to 27.5 or even a 30. your bogging issue could of came from a rich condition or a lean condition. you just have to spend the time tuning the bike to know what is causing your problem. poor jetting will be noticed more the harder the motor is loaded so that is the reason your problem was more noticed on the hills and not the flats. also if you were in and out of the throttle on the hills your needle postion would play a big role in this as well. if your needle postion is too lean and your backing in and out of the throttle that would cause a bogg. usually if the bike sounds like it whats to shut off, it is caused by a lean condition somewhere in the jetting currect. if the bike is breaking up its usually a rich condition. hope this makes sense?
