My understanding is, Power is power, how you get it to the ground is another story.. The only think i can think of is fuel, id say for asphalt, pumps are used being the longer distances ran.
I have to agree with tyler. I never ran a main bigger then a 172(was pig rich) on any motor. All my motors fell in the mid 50s to mid 160s
Edit: the only motor i had that used stupid jetting was a over ported cylinder with a bad dome setup
^this. I wasent sayin that a shaw is better then a "real" shock. Just stating that they arent as bad as people think if they are setup. It amazes me how many people knock them that never tried them, rode them, hell or even saw them in person..
Shaws dont ride as bad as people think if they are set up correctly. Jt hooked me up with setup and my junk rides no worse then it did when i had works up front. And if you have a filling station you can adjust them to whatever.
