  2. check it out. bet this dumb fucker didnt notice a thing and kept on ridin '14 and '15 are using this one. dont really care for it. just kind of rolls into the bowl with no real squish band. supposedly they lost a couple hp from previous years
  3. i dont even wanna see a cr250 head. heard the newer ones have a intentional converging band. i havent verified it but more than one person has said it. ive seen a few different jap and older ktm head and they mostly used the standard hemi style from what ive seen. maybe there was some variation along the way that i havent seen
  4. pulling random shapes out of your ass hardly ever works. atleast start with a known good working design and go from there
  5. a bathtub style, which is what i would call this , works as good or better than other designs. if the shape is correct. IF is the key word. this one dont look like anything ive seen before. he should of looked at the recent ktm heads and he would of been going more in the right direction

  7. seems like theres a variety of various PV designs. honda,yamaha,kawi,suzuki,ktm all used something alittle different. the only one im familiar with is ktm and it works pretty good. the main port is 67% of bore width which isnt far off from what you would expect to see on a nonPV port. of course you could make it even alittle wider if you wanted. getting to 70% probly wouldnt be a problem. so not all pv engines have narrow main ports. is cheetah guilitine operated by suction from the crankcase ?

  9. a well developed cylinder i can see a amatuer grinding away a few hp but i thought that passion guy had been around for a few days so it doesnt make sense. although i knew a guy in cali that ported cr500 for 20yrs and never could make one run any better than a stocker so i guess anythings possible. when you take it apart be sure and get pics.

  14. if you dont have a machine to cut your own domes, you may as well just be another average joe with some porting tools. how the hell do these shops now days test anything if they cant cut their own parts.
  15. what % do you use and is it carbed with pulse pump or what setup you got, cant tell from the pics ? whats the advantage of doing it that way versus a mechanical injection like hilborn ?

  22. pistons with the whole side machined off like that aint worth a shit on anything but a chinese scooter. especially in front of the wristpin where it certainly will make a short circuit with a wide bridged port or auxillaries. brilliant dick scratchers at wiseco dont understand i guess or maybe that was all vitos design ? either way it pathetic
