Found a nice 2000 for 2000.00. It has FMF pipe and silencer and is really clean. An older retired gentleman and his wife are the original owners of a pair of 2000 banshees. I think i will be buying his Mrs.'s bike. The owner told me that hers was a little more gently ridden than his, but they were serviced every 2 years.

Thanks for all the replies, really this bike isn't all that clean, has some plastics damage where it hit something or somebody, will keep looking. I will be moving overseas in a month and a half and really need to find a bike with a clear title, it would just make importation to Quatar much easier. I guess I will keep looking.

I actually used to live in LA and had my best friend drive out and check it out for me, but he has never had an atv so he just took a bunch of pictures and emailed them to me as well as a video. I kinda figured it was the tors. It looks like it was two separate plugs (4 Halves) that are unplugged. Is that a simple way to defeat the tors. Also it stalled twice when breaking quickly, any ideas. He wants 2700 for it. Thanks guys

Need to know what these plugs are opinions on why the may be unplugged. The ones just to the left of the petcock. Looking at buying this 2000 model and it started first kick but the headlight "tic tac toe" guard is melted as well as the headlight lens. Don't want any electrical gremlins. Well this is my first post on the HQ. I recently joined and have been inundated with good information. I don't currently own a banshee but am looking to buy one to take oversees as we are being relocated to Doha, Quatar. Looking forward to riding over there in their dunes. Back to business, if anyone has any first hand knowledge of how Quataris handle imported atv's as far as fees, taxes, and tariffs are concerned, sharing it with me would be great. Thanks, Wayne
