  1. I am inclined to agree with WINDY, I have one as well with the dc conversion and the regulator. I have maybe 40 hours of ride time, if not more, and it hasn't skipped a beat. I had been running a new OEM one but needed more wattage, Gary was way backed up so I went with Evan's product. Probably the next best thing with Gary's stator being the best one in the business IMHO.
  2. This seems to be the consensus after alot of searching on the HQ, hoping those with their a arm kit will chime in. Thanks bro. Checked their website and didn't see them, I will call them tomorrow. Thanks for the tip. What??? I don't know, kinda the reason for the post, get info from those who have first hand knowledge before buying them. But hey, thanks alot for your info.
  3. Would like to know from those who have pivot works a arm bushing kits how well these hold up over time and how do they do in the sand. They would be put in leagers LT arms. Are they worth the cash and who has the best deal? thanks
  4. X2 about talking to Jeff at FAST Email might be better than calling as it gets expensive, I live in Qatar and know how expensive it can get but he is easy to talk to and will take the time to answer all of your questions, much like most sponsers here.
  5. If you get the Nology set up, JD makes a bracket for the coil that makes intallation easier.
  6. Wow, where do these people come from, twin turbo, unbelievable.
  7. I had to laugh when I read this after reading the post it was referring to. On a more serious note, some of us really need to re-read our post before we hit the POST button. I usually just read post and offer help when I can or when someone else hasn't but unless English is your second language, there is no reason or excuse to have to try and decipher a post like that. Just my .02
  8. Talk to Camatv, he know alot about fixing the false neutral problem
  9. I also received some parts from him. Good guy to deal with and has quality parts for sale at decent prices. Does what he says he is going to do and arrived quicker than expected. Thanks Tony Wayne
  10. I would just like to say that Camatv is a stand up guy and does what he says he is going to do. I recently ordered one of his cut tranny's. I was going to be in the states over the holidays and asked Cam if he could finish it and mail to my stateside address. The thing is I would only be there for two weeks, then going back overseas. I received it on Christmas Eve, a day after I got stateside. Just as promised. I have not put it in as of yet but if his workmanship is anything like his word and the way he does business , it will be the cat's meow. In summary, this is a true blue guy to deal with and offers a great solution for alot of the banshee tranny shortcomings for those that do not want to go with an override. I will report again once tranny is installed. Wayne
  11. Would like to see some pics and what did you run these on
  12. Ok, the issue I had was head related, but I doubt it in your situation since yours is stock.
  13. I have maybe 10 trips to the dunes and have had zero issues with it. Was a little leery at first since one testers CDI went out just after he installed the stator. I spoke with Evan and he assured me that his stator had nothing to do with CDI failure. He seems like a stand up guy so I decided to give his product a whirl. I also recommend it as well.
  14. Answer this question, had a similar problem but had nothing to do with detonation. Only one piston and on the intake side, just like you. Did you have any trouble removing the head with the studs still in jugs?
  15. I have one and have had it for a couple months now. I got the dc floated ground one with the regulator/rectifier. Real nice piece and it has not skipped a beat since installed. I think for the price you can't really go wrong especially since the stock one is around 4 bills new.
  16. What kind of head do you have? When you pulled it off over the studs, did it slip right off or did you have to message it a some to get it off?
  17. I would try swap spark plug wires and see if the problem follows. If it does most likely a bad plug boot, they will go out quite a bit but it is an easy fix. Hope this helps you out.
  18. Get a Dremel tool, very easy to do, just take your time. You can make a radius edge that follows the contour of the pipe, when done it almost looks factory.
  19. Use Yamalube, only choice really, or could use some no name stuff found occasionally here. Run it in my 4mil cub 421 at 32:1 and have had no oil related problems.
  20. This is IMHO the perfect way to attack a problem this is ignition related since it changed when you swapped plug wires. Very good advice and a systematic approach. Bravo!!!
  21. It's here Where did it come from? Oh and ditch that boost bottle, more trouble than it's worth
