  1. Thats pretty damn good for a stock head. Keep on goin.
  2. So i bought my banshee knowing it needed tires. The previous owner must of had 20psi in them when i brought it home in the morning i could notice two broken sets of cords. So i ordered some Holeshot HD's and pulled off the old Fast Trekkers to find that all of the cords on the sidewalls had been pulled off the side wall and some of them were broken in spots. I was a little surprised to say the least. Shitty pic but this is what the inside of the tire looked like.
  3. It depends really id get a new headgasket throw the head back on and do a compression test. None of the pictures looked all that bad to me. Make sure u try to clean the piston as much as possible.
  4. Namura=No. Wisecos or maybe Vitos. Not sure on gaskets.
  5. That grill is pretty sick looking not gonna lie.
  6. You normal dont re-bore unless you have to if the wall is gouged or somthing if you destruct a piston.
  7. Nvm. Id just buy the top and bottom.
  8. That would be the best idea. Trail riding with drag pipes i dont see ending very well.
  9. I couldnt see the pictures too clearly yes you are going to split the cases you dont have a crank in there also i think i may of saw some shift drums. Just try to follow the clymer as best you can follow the diagrams on lining up the tranny with the half moon clips and such on the sides your going to need crank seals. From looking at what you have your going to have to talk to a builder they can give you the best explanation far better than i can and you might just have to send it to them. Its going to be hard for you because you were unable to see how anything came apart.
  10. You COULD its not really reccomended your going to have to keep the RPM's up throughout trails to really see any power. There are many other good looking pipes out there more designed for trails like paul turners Toomey's FMF's PC's. I would look at every possible solution before i tried riding trails with drag pipes. Any of the pipes you listed dont have much power at the bottom end and are all top end pipes.
  11. Ive heard good things about Red Line. Ive heard Kevin at Herr Jugs Racing and Jeff at F.A.S.T have very good customer service and their ordinary people there not some very large company that just treats you like just another customer. All of them are respectful whether you know alot about the motors or not. and for the 4mill cub you can ask kevin or jeff about the cylinders or dig through some posts on here to see what suits your riding best. Best of luck for whatever you end up doing.
  12. I misunderstood where it seems like its been apart for a while i would replace and gaskets and seals and make sure you oil almost everything while putting it back together. Once you actually begin to re assemble and have everything in front of you the clymer makes more sense. Your going to want to oil your tranny and make sure when you put the cases back together to seal them. Other then that you might want a new base gasket for the cylinders a new gasket for the clutch side of the motor where the cover mounts and crankcase seals. It would help us alot of you show us pictures of what you have.Your going to need more then what i said thats just a starting point.
  13. The boost bottles can crack intake boots i dont doubt that. My banshee has one and i know for a fact its been on there for a long time. So if your one has one you dont need to drop everything and get one its just somthing to keep in the back of your mind on your next parts run. You cant go wrong with any sponsor on here too look over your motor if it concerns you talk to each one and see who you like best.
  14. Get THIS dont buy it directly from clymer because there most expensive. What Infamous said for the rest.
  15. Mines on the Gas Tank shroud on the top left. I like it there due to its ease of access. It doesnt look all that stupid either.
  16. K&N are fine with outerwears. Foam filters clog very easy and make the bike run like shit.
  17. Nice cover ive seen that 87sheerips is buying them from members for his shop and hes aqua fusing them. I would get ahold of him and see what his offer is.
  18. Does it leak from the overflows? If it leaks from the overflows on the bowl of the carb it means the float is stuck which isnt a hard fix at all. Dont let that be a deal breaker.
  19. No i wouldnt say it would be jets normally with wrong jets it wont idle and doesnt rev right. I agree with SandKing my guess would be electrical i would test the stator trace all of your wires to the harness it sounds electrical to me. I could be wrong where it was outside something may of eaten a wire. Thats my best guess its going to be something stupid.
  20. Doesnt the parking break do that when it messes up? Could be wrong, Im almost positive. Does it have it? if it does id remove it.
  21. Your gonna want to change to around 20-21cc domes for 91 octane other then that shee sounds pretty good.
  22. 150 sounds pretty good for 18cc with ur elevation. Lower the cc higher the compression.
