  1. Im not an expert on 4mill's but your going to need diffrent domes and maybe a base gasket. Id ask Kevin about it.
  2. Check the floats and are you shutting off the petcock?
  3. Where do u ride. If you ride trails youre not going to want a dune port. If you ride dunes your not going to want a trail port. It all depends what you ride.
  4. 4mil is a Aftermarket crank usually made by Hot Rods which is 4 millimeters over the standard stroke. With your budget i would throw a 4mil in there and port it. A 4mil crank will run you around 465 for one. You can call up Jeff from FAST the 4mil page is HERE if your handy you should be able it drop it in yourself if your not confident jeff can do it. I would get a4 mil and port the cylinder. Youll never look back again. Again thats the expensive route the other way to go would be Port the cylinders for your riding style for now and do a 4mil later on.
  5. Yeah there very simple bikes when you find one for the right price pick it up and buy a clymer manual and you should be able to almost any job yourself if you know how to turn a wrench.
  6. You clean and oil the filter you dont replace. I run an outerwear on my K&N that u take out and run under the sink. I would just clean and oil when it looks shitty or before a long ride theres no set time when it should be done.

  8. No doubt thats way to rich. Im a little how Kevin could be so far off. id try 290 see what it does.
  9. I would recommend Noss or Chariot. They are both good pieces of work. I have a pro design cool head on mine i dont think mines two peices though. Make sure all the o rings in the head are good then torque down the head correctly then see if it still does it.
  10. Id pull that ricky stator out and see if you can return it. They cause alot of problems and like bansheesandrider said some rickys dont even work right out of the box.
  11. Nah 120's good. I say anything below 100 is rebuild. You might want to find why the coolants dripping though.

  13. I just tell if its screaming or if it really takes off when i let the clutch out.
  14. Id just buy regular cases and ive seen someone sandblast and polish them i think it was NickisGod. Thats a alot of money to spend on cases Imo.
  15. $4000 in motor and it is "Stroked" to a 400 with a Stage 4 head. Id like to know where he gets his shit done.
  16. Did he use the correct oil in tranny putting it back together?
  17. 23cc Has a lower compression then 20's it sounds right for your setup. With that elevation i dont know how quick id be to try 21's

  19. Dump the Gas maybe re-clean carbs and see. Did u shake the shit out of the tank before i tried running it?
  20. With the cool head yeah you can pull the motor out pull the head off and pull the cylinders off. You will probably need to buy a new base gasket though as far as the cases i wouldnt rip them apart for just practice. Your best bet would to be have all the new parts next to u head out there early on a weekend take it all apart and watch what you do taking it apart pull out alll the stuff your replacing drop in the new and start re assembling. I would ask Kevin exactly what you will need for gaskets and seals. The motors are not complicated at all really.
