  1. Reving the shit out of it to hide a noise?
  2. When it cuts out at WOT im sure the TORS is getting confused so i would eliminate those. And the carbs might seem clean but id take them apart anyways and clean it, its not going to hurt.
  3. You Sir need to pull off your water pump cover and check your impeller and the drive gear in there. Thats most likely your problem.
  4. Wait i just looked at sheeriders post then back to original man just wait till she is weak then if you got the money then go 4mil
  5. First off if money is tight find the specs for the piston sizes on here i think their in technical info and use the micrometer and if your piston is within specs hone it and re ring it. So first off this is what your going to need i might miss one or two things. Your going to need a head gasket, base gaskets, exhaust gaskets, the rings if you can go that route, and you might as well do the wrist pin and circlips while your there for the peace of mind that the wrist pin isnt going to take a shit. Also get yourself a Clymers Manual and a Torque Wrench a good one if you already dont have one. The clymer is going to walk you through step by step and it is easy to follow. But say that somthing went wrong and you end up needing to bore the cylinders send them to preferably a site sponsor have them bored and honed. Also your going to want new pistons i recommend doing this i will put all links below your going to want to pick up 2 pistons FROM A SITE SPONSOR they are by far the cheapest no joke. So for example your going to want to get a pair of pistons for 175$ that includes the piston and rings and im not sure on circlips remember to ask. Also get 2 wrist pins. Then your going to want to get a topend gasket kit. Thats going to have everything you need. So now your going to want to whip out the clymers grab the parts and get to work follow the clymer step by step. THE BIGGEST THING TAKE YOUR TIME do not rush 99% of the time rushing leads to mistakes. These are very very simple machines and it should not be hard for you if you know how to spin a wrench. Now ill get all the links for you i used fast for everything you can look at different site sponsors for prices and everything. Good Luck Man. 6. They make skid plates for a reason. Frame looks a little funkay but def needs the left(from pic) tie rod adjusted
  7. Normally the tranny isnt an issue. Thats not saying its never going to be an issue but it is not likely. Normally for the rebuild point i would say 105-100 they can go as low as 80 but i dont see it being worth going that low. Good that you can ride it now let us know how it goes.
  8. I gathered that info from locos post above and the one in Hillclimb section. And posts ive seen before.
  9. I had the same exact problem i ended up using a tape measure from the front of the front tire to the rear of the rear tire i got a little under 1/2 an inch and just left it.
  10. Get a 69 Camaro. Drop in a 350 chevy 4 bolt main. Slap on a blower. Tub out the rear end get some race slicks on there. Then youll beat him. This is a banshee website. It didnt take a genius to put that together.
  11. Agreed with Sandman Cameron at Redline makes hard ass 350's.
  12. With that one even if its in 115ish Fuck it just buy it if you need to rebuild it over the winter or next year w.e its worth it to get a nicer bike and once you do the rebuild you know the state of the motor and it takes the "is it reliable" out of the question.
  13. "Lent it to a friend, Came back with mad motor" Straight Gas....
  14. Thinking about getting one does it lower the temps enough to spend 75$ on it?
  15. Wow. NOS and everything. Hope he finds it sick bike.
  16. Welcome to the club man. Good luck with the rebuild as you go youll find these are so much easier to work on than dirt bikes. You should be able to come across a set of cases and a crank on here pretty cheap. Good luck with the build make sure to keep us updated.
