    IMO if your not drag racing i wouldnt worry about an override. Get your trans cut and run a lockup. Thats my opinion from my knowledge other people will have other good options.

    Pull the plug caps off kick it over, you should see a blue spark from inside the plug cap. Cant tell from OP if you did that or not. If it had a bad spark it would most likely be missing and possibly back firing. Does it bog once you get above 1/4 or so if thats the case i would look at jetting or the main jet could be clogged. S10 is right also.

    True and weld the OEM and im not sure of prices but a HotRods stock stroke could be a good choice.

    Id definitely ditch the tors asap. Im not expert at jetting but it could be the main jet being rich.

    Either its most likely jetting or your spinning the tires in the low gears and not spinning in the high gears.

    No, Cast are weaker you gotta get in there and get some pics up for us to accurately tell you what happened.

    Did you lean it out too much? Were they wiseco or cast pistons and did you hear any piston slap before hand? Id give kevin a call.

    There is a big plastic cover that holds no coolant then a smaller metal cover behind the plastic that is infront of the impeller that has coolant in it.
