  1. Here are my thoughts on this. Single a arm lighter but supposedly doesn't handle ad well as dual a arm. Asphalt most likely has to meet rules so frames will be different Than A hillshooter.
  2. I like having first for the ride from camp to the hill. All depends on riding area i guess.
  3. Why override first? With 100hp wouldnt you think you could pull second that way you can coast and back load first all you want..
  4. Cpi will burn your leg. Ive had both and if you want the most power of the 2 choices cpi. If you want a better pipe fit and not have such a bulky set of pipes go t5.
  5. The broken pj is not a lecton piece. Drill out the broken piece. Figure out closest size fitting you can use and tap threads for that size. Install fitting. Check threaded section not sticking to far into pj. Clean up drilling and tapping savings. Good as new
  6. Maybe for new carbs. He doesnt use this style pj. Why waste his time?
  7. Google clippard. They sell fittings like you want. That style pj you have is a pia.
  8. Thread size is smaller. I looked through my parts can only find the same gravity ones that you have so thats no help. Call dennis tuesday and he will have the answers.
  9. You cant go from old clip style to new style. The new style is slightly smaller. Get the number of the bottom of your pump style needle and seat and post it. Ill look in my stuff when i get back in town. I might have an old style gravity set id trade for a pump set. I want to say 3.3 is pump but need to check my notes.
  10. They make 2 styles of needle and seat. This is what ive seen and been told. The old stuff was all 2 piece and a clip held in the needle. The numbers stamped on the bottom tell you pump or gravity. The newer ones have a captured needle and also have a different thread. Per dennis if you have new style and want to install old style just retap to the correct size. I had to do this on my last set.
  11. I was asking one vendor on ebay about his products. They were like 130 for the carrier and stay. He couldnt answer some of my questions and refered me to his supplier, some guy named wang! That made me realize what you get for cheap. Im ordering from jj&a.
  12. Looking for pegs pm with paypal info if you still have them
  13. What do you mean by leaks a little? How long til its low, days or hours?
  14. Whats the difference in round housing carriers. Pricing ranges from 130-280. What gives? Looking for one for my new drag build. Looking for input
  15. check out the twister crankshaft site. A big block would compare to a dm.
  16. One of lew jr. Long travel chassis with a dune port 10mil big block twister.
  17. 2 things. First i think your both wrong about cp. They are the ones with the most info on these cylinders as they designed them. Second ive been looking over my dimensions sheet on the 10 dm and comparing it to other cp cylinder specs i have compiled. It seems that if you deck the bottom of the cylinder your going to either have to tall of an exh port leading to high durations or at bdc the crown will be above the exh and transfer port floors.
  18. Do you have any specs from a 4 or 7 dm? Piston part# would be were i would start. Second question is what kinda timing numbers do you think you want. Ill check the 10 mil sheet i got to compare some numbers.
  19. The arched swinger came out to fix the bending problem everyone had with the aero tube style arms. They would bend like a bannana. With the arch most people cant tell when it starts to bend=less customer complaints.
  20. When i saw the first pic i almost gave up on you but in the end not to bad. Keep up with pics and total time spent.
  21. Not quite what i meant.you need to be somewhat sharp while you cheat if you want to pull it off. Asking about tire stagger in the open is not a good way to start out cheating.
