  1. It usually drops out after 7 years or so in ca. No penalties are due after that. The title would establish ownership so no vin verification should be needed to transfer title and reg into your name.
  2. Im in. New bike looks like it wont be ready in time, been to busy finishing house projects. I plan to be there friday mid day. For those who are first timers, when you get there i find the best camping is if you go straight as far as you can up past vendor row (closest to the hill) or back in the court. That way you can watch racing from camp and its short ride over. Its softer ground and slightly uphill so most have started camping way back by the main gates on hard ground
  3. Anyone else read where some believe the neck braces can cause more injury in some crashes? I thought i read something about collar bones cutting arteries?
  4. My box stock 4mil lp runs great. Stock carbs, fmf pipes and pump gas. I ride technical trails and dunes just fine. I think to many people chase numbers on bikes that just need to be riden.

  6. Most commonly they end up between .048-.055. There is way more to it than that. Most builders wont cut you a dome unless they built the engine.

  11. Just fyi, they did back in the day. Now they are all 535 but some ealier ones were slightly smaller bores. To the op that needle sounds odd. Im not positive but i think cel or cgl is more normal.

Need a spacer for right rear bolt, you could probably stack washers. Needs repaint 55 shipped water box 100 shipped billet turbo plenum 175 shipped big block twister intakes 25 shipped front brakes everything pictured works but caliper slides are a little worn 55 shipped. j arm caliper unknown shape but seem okay 35 shipped. Message me here. Again i only ship on weekends, so keep that in mind when buying.

  17. I cant explain why its not needed but its not. Ive never used it in that application on probably 10 motors. Never had case hardware issues. There are tons on engine applications that dont use locktight on critical fastners. The only things that might have been locktighted in would be the studs into the upper case half in the crank area simply so they dont loosen when removing the nuts. Even thats not required. If you really wanted to you could do one at a time with no issue.
  18. No lock tight is needed on case hardware. Dont waste your time.

  20. Rears in mint condition with no pipe burns are hard to find. Fronts are around 350-400 shipped right now.
