  1. The drum will need to be cut to override first gear. i might have one i would trade you. i will look sunday and pm if i have it. that trans might be n down m1 2-5override. better double check
  2. Yep long rod banshee is what you want. when you order domes have stroke, rod and piston numbers handy
  3. A arm or j arm frame, and do you have title?
  4. Banshee long rod piston is what you want with stock cylinders. whats your bore at now with"big bore sleeves"
  5. New from jegs like 850. Matoon machine for flywheel and pickup plate. Waste of money though on a twin.
  6. Bad chassis ground in harness somewhere. rec leak check first then verify good ground to cdi. maybe float bowls swapped?
  7. If you post more than once does it increase your odds?
  8. Ive been to kims shop. i know who they are. thought t&k might be some newengland shop. but your right there are a couple typos in the ad
  9. what do you think the solid bar pegs could go down to if you bored the center before welding? these dont look like they have bite.
  10. what pipe in frame or oof? refering to op and jmad

No theres not. set on ebay but some people dont trust the seller
  13. And a truing stand for reassembly after the rod is replaced. this is not a diy job unless you are very mechanically inclined. you have already failed that test. send it to a pro or buy new. almost same price
  14. I think the trx 250r shares the same pattern. there is one mis listed on ebay. search trx 250 v force. its listed as a 3 but is grey in color like a 2. worth checking out.
  15. well they were wrong. call it what it is and you wont sound like a dumbshit like they do.
  16. so are you implying they groove the head and jugs, then use a wire oring on the stock head gasket? the one i have uses regular orings. only groove is on the head to seal the cylinders. they have yamabond to seal the coolant.
  17. Thats why i said he needed to include cases to get 1800. even though it only has a few passes you can never compare to new pricing. If your not specing the components its not worth new money. you might find tge porting or domes dont suit your needs or maybe it was assembled wrong? you never know. my advise is sell it complete after people get their tax returns come feb-mar.
  18. Billet crank and cases with aftermarket cylinders designed and cast within the last 10 years is 30 year old tech? just pot stirring here. I think costs to produce above mentioned power per cc ratios should be brought into this topic. also what about longevity. lets compare apples to apples here
  19. 64x74 is not 558cc. try again. 1800 for cases crank and topend more like it.
  20. Twister was the only name that come to my mind as well. when odd strokes are brought up they are usually his cranks. not saying its not a stock stroked crank, its just not that popular any more. and who the fuck would spend good money on a twister crank then cheap out on the cylinders.
  21. Ive been reading this since day one and have been wondering does he mean stock stroke 5mil long rod? or 5mil stroke who knows what rod? we may never know. buy a degree wheel, some solder and read up you got lots to learn
