  1. I cant picture how this looks on the bike. got any installed pics?
  2. You have cases and crank already? what do you think this would cost? i have one sitting on my shelf that might be for sale. not cheap though it has been one of my favorites.
  3. Bump lots of talk no buyers. 425 to you closest greyhound is the best im gonna do unless you pick up locally. im in sf bay area of norcal
  4. Usually pressure plate not seating is cause its not lined up. stock has arrows i think hinson has a dot. i have full hinsons with pancake bearings in a couple motors no problems.
  5. The shinny wheel sure looks bigger than the black one. How soft do they feel
  6. Power jet on c is a packard style and works good. you can remove the barb fittings and unthread the pj from the carb, then use a soldering torch to melt the solder holding the tube to the clippard body. your straight style would screw right in. just make sure the tubes are exposed at the same throttle position when your finished. its really pretty simple
  7. Adjust your spring free length and or pack thickness.
  8. Sarcasm? for the op you mechanic sounds horrible. 32:1 is fine and has nothing to do with hard start. list carbs, jets, filter type and location. probably pilot jet wrong
  9. 14 paddle straight extremes 24/11/10 reg buff. on 10/10 blue labels 4/115 pattern. measure 75ro at 2 psi 77 at approx 10psi. these have been hanging in the attic for a future build but now im not gonna need them. 500 shipped gifted or you pay fees
  10. this is not a good way to clean critical surfaces. they are way to easy to remove parent material with the gasket. check your freshly cleaned part on a surface plate and you will find the gasket surfaces are no longer true and flat. i will only use a sharp razor blade. All those discs are good for is old cork gaskets.
  11. Then run same tire. throw away the 12 tooth. at least get back to a 14. and i did say learn to tune clutch not get a lockup. if tuned properly you can hook instead of spin
  12. You should read the clutch tuning thread. might help prevent you from blowing off the tires. That +6 arm was more than enough for your eng and rider combo. i would sort out these items 1 tire pressure 2 gearing 3 rear shock spring and valving 4 learn clutch tuning 5 get assortment of tires 10,12 72ro
  13. This is a very interesting topic. has there ever been discussion about creating a top 5 list. you could hold a race at a hq ride. might give people motovation to travel. Or you could alternate locations ok and ut. i know years ago there was koh at sand mountain memorial wkend. fastest bike sunday evening took home a plaque.
  14. im 99% sure that it becomes cost prohibitive to use stock cylinders over a 7mill. If i remember correctly 10 mill stock cylinders needed spacers welded to the deck and taller sleeves installed. he was using a cost effective example.
  15. You guys are retarded. the motor sold and the clutch was never listed in the ad
  16. ^^^^this is true. try finding a shop that can do all phases of your build. some well respected sponsers cant even get the job done.
  17. Not to be a dick but tdr sells these for 375
