  1. What metering rod you looking for?
  2. One has a step at the bottom. The other has steps on both ends. The top is more apparent than the bottom. I think i can smooth it out when i re polish them. its just work i did not plan on having to do after paying for it
  3. I would have been fine with it if they were all the same. It would of only taken an extra minute to cut that last little bit. I shouldn't have to rework something that i paid someone else to do. Dont get me wrong, for service times and rebuild pricing they are right on. Tim is a good guy to talk to on the phone. I have a set getting rebuilt right now as a matter of fact. All i wanted to point out was the quality of work on removing ribs was sub par in my experience. I would look elsewhere for that. It should be noted that i have never contacted him about it. I feel that he is aware of the product he shipped out. I'm just stating what happened in my situation. It could very well be a one time issue on 2 shocks.
  4. Right side upper is worse than lower sorry first pics were so dark. They charged like 120 to turn both shocks down. Is this what is to be expected at that price?
  5. smooth transition on upper Not machined far enough on lower
  6. you can see and feel the step. I was expecting a seamless transition. Maybe i expect to much?
  7. I just had some rebuilt and shaved at mss. I guess i had a ding in a shaft also. Cost 250 or so and the machine work is not the quality i was expecting. your almost better off to sell and buy new.
  8. Just put on the msr aof setup. Feels like butter. Not for the show bike type but seems like it will work great.
  9. Is that the same pattern as honda? Just wondering
  10. Wait and see if spark arrestors are coming out for the slp.
  11. Poor signal on monster carbs on small motors.
  12. Isnt a 41 pwk actually close to a 44 lectron in actual bore size?
  13. Whats rear hubs are in the pic? If they are blaster, whats different than banshee?
  14. Thats more what i was looking for. Thanks guys
  15. http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=141548218962&alt=web Had to share. These look like someone with no fab skills made them. Cant believe anyone would consider buying them
  16. 15 plus shipping. Gotta make sure its not warped.
  17. Like it says whats the perfered setup for a aftermarket lever. Chrome, black etc. Looking for a quick adjust style. No need for asv levers in my situation
  18. I have a hinson backing plate with cushions and bolts if thats what your after
  19. If this bike is in oakley ca couple thoughts. It might be an old build. Found some posts on pirate 4x4 that referenced a very similar build.do a compression test. If advertised at 180 it should be 180. Could be an old pic and could be worn out. Also joe machado builds some decent stuff and has been around a long time. He is a good local builder.
  20. Not totally accurate. Take a stock bike and lean way over the bars and pin it. Its about weight and its location. If your heavy with a long arm and sit forwards you will spin more than a lighter rider on the same setup.
  21. I would imagine a die that size would amost cost as much as the shaft
