  1. I have rdz's on my 421. I've never owned shearers to compare them to but the welds and fit are great on them.
  2. Found the dumps are also .115. I made a few short launches with it and it seem to run great so I might buy some new plugs and check it where it's at. Here's a vid of it, how's it sound?
  3. Thanks special, I was just curious why a lot of people go bigger on the dump vs just drilling them the same size. Little update: it has 6FJ47 needles maxed out and non adjustable power jets. The power jet has caps you take off and replace a jet which it currently has .093 in it. Anyone else?
  4. I agree I think .115 will be way too small. Any reason the dump was recommended to be larger then the main? And how about your pilot? I fired it up yesterday for the first time and it was spitting a little raw fuel at idle and just off idle. This is my first alky bike so I'm new to this.
  5. Hey guys, just bought a new bike and had it delivered from Montana. It's a alky 421 cub that's drag ported by rdz running oof rdz pipes. It has 38mm mikuni flat slide carbs on it. His elevation was 3300ft but also rode at st anthonys which is around 5000ft. Here in MI my elevation is 600-800ft. He said it was tuned pretty fat but I'm just looking for some opinions on these carbs and typical jetting for this elevation. It currently has 50 pilots and .115 mains. I haven't checked the needles yet. It is also running a pump if that makes any difference. Here's some pics of the bike and carbs. Any help is appreciated. I'd like to get this ready to run at the track this weekend.
  6. how about these? http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=158409 I also have a drag bike on the way to me that's running a set of black rdz oof, one out each side. As much as I'd like to keep them I'm going to end up needing a set of silenced oof.
  7. Yup just bought it, don't even have it yet lol. But according to the shipping company it should be delivered by the 8th. Yea it's a 421 cub drag ported by rdz.
  8. Looks like I should be in the mix now the 4 poke can stay home....
  9. Thanks, does someone wanna post the address? I know it's in fowlerville right? That's less then an hour from me
  10. Are there any 4 pokes allowed?? I sold my banshee and am working on buying another but probably won't have one by then. I'll gladly still donate
  11. The rzr is made by polaris not yamaha but from a google search they take a 4x156 bolt pattern.
  12. Yes right next to the parking lot. David Allen racing carries 110 octane. There also a bp gas station near by that carries it.
  13. Still got 5k in my pocket.... Still want it..... Dont wanna drive 19hrs to ya lol. Maybe one of these days I'll have it
  14. No worries fellas, I'm attempting to work something out....I'm 1000 miles away though. It's tricky
  15. I tried to buy this bike about a month ago. The guy lived in grand haven. I thought about it for a while and when I finally decided I wanted to go pick it up he told me it was sold. I have some good pictures he sent me on my laptop....sweet bike.
  16. It's just the correction factor the dyno uses based on multiple variables like temp etc.... I believe there's 5 different correction factors and typically std will always read the highest.
  17. You could prolly switch those graphs to std and pick up some easy hp
  18. I've been considering this motor. Here's a few pics he sent me. Hope ya dont mind.
